Helps Fade Post Breakout Scars
I've struggled with hormonal acne for years, and just as my marks would start disappearing, new acne and marks would show up. I've used tons of products (I love Youth to the People and use their cleanser/exfoliants, but still felt like my marks weren't removing quickly enough. Also use Retinol from SkinMedica but it can be pretty drying from time to time), my esthetician was recommending something with higher percentage AHA/BHA's and so I started looking into Dermalogica. I used their Dark Spot Peel first and saw significant change in a week, but my older marks were taking longer to go away.I started seeing ads on Instagram with Breakout Peel products and decided to give it a try. I knew I might see some purging so I didnt get scared of the product when that started happening, but kept it in rotation with my routine. I used the Clear Start (purple lid) 3x a day on active breakouts and the post breakout fix (blue lid) after my pimples started getting smaller. Every other night I'd use their other Breakout peels (didnt like the smell of the pink liquid one, but I still use it)Anyway, I saw improvements in the 1st week of using but then had some purging in week 2 that left new scars in week 3 (attached photos). By week 5, I could already see marks fading and even some of my texture coming back/looking normal. Week 7 photo is attached as well, which when comparing to my "Before/Day 1" photo looks great, so I will continue using in hopes that I can get my dark spots to fade once and for all. I still have product left in the bottle 7 weeks later, although I'll probably need to refill within the next 1-2 weeks.

So far, so good!
I happened to break out with the hugest pimplesdays before receiving Dermalogica's Clear Start Post-breakout Fix, so it was all too convenient to try out this facial product. As we all know, don't pick at your pimple because it'll only make it worst, but mine tend to form and erupt within days without me messing with it... and I was post eruption phase when I applied this fix.The cream itself is a hybrid of gel/cream and only a dab is needed on the area where your pimple's deathbed lie because a little bit goes a long. I applied this product after my face had been thoroughly cleansed in the morning and right before I went to bed, with no residual side effects or irritation to my super-sensitive skin. I woke up the following morning after my first application and as I went to brush my teeth, I noticed the faintest red mark where my zit had been. I dare not touch it but got closer to the mirror to examine the red mark and sure enough, not only had the deep red crater that housed my worst enemy return to it's normal pigmented color, but the pimple had altogether made its exit from my face! I tried not to get overzealous and continued my morning routine, making sure to apply a dab of Dermalogica's product to the same area where the red mark was, and rushed out the door. On my lunch break, I made a mad-dash to grab coffee and as I waited for said coffee there was a huge mirror in front of me... so, I couldn't help but look once more at the "red mark." This time, there was nothing there but a new patch of skin that had grown over the burial site of my zit.I am in awe of how well this product worked, so much so, that I actually want to get another pimple just to try it out once more to see if its efficacy is a real thing! Either way, this facial resource by Dermalogica has saved my skin from scarring and even cut my recovery time for the damaged skin in 1/2! I highly recommend this product for sufferers of acne, especially if the aftermath looks worse than when the main event was front and center on your face.
