Everything you need for an EDC tool. Always looks shiny clean and new. Love supporting Schrade and Uncle Henry. Holds its edge VERY well!

I love folding knives. Most of mine are Victorinox (and my favourite is a Case XX Slimline Trapper). I bought this Uncle Henry Scout because it is very much like the Cub Scout knife I had when I was a Cub Scout and a Webelos Scout. That knife, 50 years ago, had brown scales and a Cub Scout logo inset. This Uncle Henry has stag scales and no Cub Scout logo, but it's got the same blades: Knife, can opener, bottle opener, straight-blade screwdriver, and awl. It's not an especially high-quality knife like my Victorinox or Case ones, but it's pretty good quality and gives me some nice nostalgia.

Just like my Dad's. I think of him every time I see it or use it. It's a knife from a time when everyone had one in their pocket and it was cool before Tacticool became a thing. Even kids had one an there was no one waiting at every opportunity to frown upon the fact, "He's got a knife!" As kids we used them responsibly or we got our butt handed to us and asked if we'd like seconds! It feels solid and substantial not to mention it instills a certain confidence knowing you're always prepared to open a bottle, a can, cut something, or scratch, pry, ream, or poke around with your awl. Thank you Lord for the days we lived in, Thank you dad for being a man, and thank you Schrade - Uncle Henry for having been there with us, and being with us still today.

It’s not a bad knife, don’t get me wrong. But it feels like what I spent on it. I have more expensive knives and the open smoother and hold a better edge… but this is an every day beater knife. Medallion in the handle lasted over a year before falling out. And that’s a year of solid rough carry

A disappointment. Super gritty opening and closing blade and other tools. Oiled, wiped, and oiled again. Still gritty with a black substance in the pivots. Not very sharp, and the bolsters are tarnished and dirty. A $27 knife that's only worth $5 right out of the box. Don't buy it. For a few dollars more you can get a Swiss-made knife that's 10 times better.
