I bought this in February and for the first 6 months it worked well, easy to adjust and with a good cut at a good price. However after 6 months it stopped holding charge, a days charging would only run for about 30 seconds. I may have got a bad one but I have seen other people with similar reports. Update: Phillips warranty process was relatively straight forward but does require a magnify glass to read serial and model numbers off the old device. The new one arrived within the week and is working well. I’ve changed the score to 4 stars as the trimmer is very good while it works but can’t give 5 stars due to the failure

Great trimmer

I finally relented & purchased this to replace a stubble trimmer I had used for something like 15 years. The battery was shot & I had replaced the blade cover once already, so it was about time. Good: - Great value for the price I paid - Functionally the same as what I previously owned, which saw me well - Battery life is hugely better than my old trimmer (to be expected) - Decent quality Not so good - It is fairly easy to knock the trim length wheel when in use. Luckily doesn't happen too often - There is no charging LED (or if there it, mine does not work), so difficult to know when charged

If you're aiming for that perfectly rugged, "I woke up like this" stubble that makes you look effortlessly handsome (or at least makes you feel like it), then this is your new best friend. It’s easy to use. The adjustable settings let me dial in just the right length for that ‘ooo la la’ look that my Mrs calls it. This thing gets the job done without snagging, pulling, or making me question my life choices. Battery life is about an hour on a full charge, It’s quiet, so I don’t feel like I’m starting a lawn mower every time I have a shave. The cleanup is a breeze. No mess, no drama. Just me, my perfect stubble, and a sense of accomplishment that I probably don’t deserve. Final Thoughts Whether you want a scruffy, lumberjack vibe or just the right amount of stubble to look like you put in minimal effort (like me), this trimmer has you covered. My face has never looked better, which is helping me out in the lady department… just don’t tell my Mrs 😅. Highly recommend this for any man aiming for peak stubble glory.

This was the second one I’ve bought. Got the first one in August 24 stopped charging in August 25 but wasn’t sure if it was something I’d done and it’s relatively cheap so bought another. This has now done the same thing, won’t charge at all. It’s a great shaver when it works just doesn’t last long enough! I’m going to get in touch with Philips.

This version of trimmer is really toy'ish, it seem light and easily destructible. I had the previous version of this and it lasted me about 5-6 years and still felt robust, only replaced it as the battery started to die quickly and I broke the attachment. This one, even the attachment, feels flimsy. When I am trimming and any force it feels like the attachment is moving around. Also, trying to do half-size cuts is a no, you have to put it on the whole number as it just moves back from half way's to full number with your hand unknowingly when trimming. Probably wouldn't by this again as the overall quality of this has really gone down hill, however it does trim well enough. Time will tell how long it actually lasts.

After about a year the charger has given up and doesn’t charge anymore. Completely useless. Avoid.

Apparaten funkar bra - dock blev jag mycket besviken av att stickkontakten ej var av svensk standard. Blev tvingad att lägga ut en extra hundring för en stickkontaktsadapter för att kunna ladda apparaten. Föreslår att ni upplyser kunden om detta innan köp.
