Star Wars Imperial Assault Board Game BT-1 and 0-0-0 VILLAIN PACK - Epic Sci-Fi Miniatures Strategy Game for Kids and Adults, Ages 14+, 1-5 Players, 1-2 Hour Playtime, Made by Fantasy Flight Games

First off, the game itself is great. It's a 5-star product. The content is a nice addition to the base game. I just started playing Imperial Assault recently (after owning the base game for over a year) and decided that I want to own a "complete game" since they stopped making new expansions for it. The negatives have to do with how Amazon ships it. I wish I had taken pictures... I actually bought this game twice from Amazon and had to return it both times. Instead of boxing the game, they shipped it to me in a plastic bag. The first copy I received had no fewer than 3 damaged corners on the game box. I had never experienced that before, so I ordered a replacement item. Again, they shipped the game in a plastic bag and this time, the corners were even more beat-up... plus there was a deep gouge in the bottom of the box itself. The plastic bag itself, was in decent shape both times. I called customer service to see if they could send me another replacement in an actual box vs plastic bag but was told that they don't have a way to request that since these decisions are made at the distribution center. I ended up returning the game again for a refund and ordering it from a different store for a few dollars more.

I am a huge fan of Imperial Assault! Since picking it up a year ago, I have played about two dozens games of it, and any new piece that comes out for the game is pretty much an instant buy for me. This piece was no exception. This is one of the cooler models to come out for the game. It is very dynamic-looking, and the piece, itself, offers some great new game play options. Unlike most of the models in this game, this one comes in pieces and must be assembled. I found that my model did not fit together as tightly as I would have wanted. When fully assembled (there were four pieces), you could clearly see the joint lines in the model. It's not that big a deal, unless I would want to paint the model some day. In order for me to get a model that looks more life-like, I would need to do something about those lines to fill them in and hide them. Those who plan to paint their models should be aware that there will likely be some additional prep time as you cover up the joint lines. Overall, another great model in the line-up and a purchase I am quite happy with!

This is probably one of the best expansions for imperial Assault. It adds some of my favorite units and playable characters out of any of the expansions. No complaints on any fronts, if you are looking for a great addition to your Star Wars Imperial assault collection, I highly recommend this one.

The ISB Infiltrators are a great addition for the Imperial player in campaign games and best used if you have purchased the Bespin Expansion as it introduces attributes like "hidden" into your game and includes the Stealth-favoring Black Ops Imperial class. The Infiltrators are a duo that work best in joint attacks as one Infiltrator can use an action to have the other model launch a coordinated attack on a Rebel hero as long as both models have line of sight. Essentially, you can pull off a "Brutality" move like villains such as Darth Vader i.e. attack twice in an activation. I also like the Infiltrators' campaign mission as it is one that provides a reward for either the Rebels or Imperial player depending on who wins, adding some fun stakes should the Imperial player include it as an Agenda mission.

My husband loves Imperial assault, and we'd played through all the missions in the original expansion. Surprised him with the expansion for his birthday. We've almost completed one play-through and looking forward to future campaigns to try out the other routes we haven't got to try. My one complaint about the game is that the photos of the maps for set up are more difficult to work with than in the base version, sometimes highlighting it a different color than the actual pieces and lacking labels to say what the pieces are so it takes me forever to find what I need.

Really happy with this Villian pack. Brings some great command cards for skirmish to use with both the normal royal guards as well as the champion. And he really adds to the over campaign feel when you use him. The agenda cards also provide a lot of options to the imperial player. Lots of fun, one of the top packs to buy.
