Strong but not intense coffee

This is not good. I ordered 3 times in the past. They changed the quality. The last order was in August 2025. Previous times the coffee was really intense and the taste was a little rough that I liked so much. 5 stars for certain that incomparable with any others, quite many, that I tried (and was happy as finally found really good one). It was not dripping so easily from the machine. This last time it runs smoothly as the coffee is not intense any longer like any others. They changed also the package quality of each capsule - thinner.

We recently tried Caffè Borbone capsules in Italy in the AirBnB we stayed in. It was a Lavazza machine though, and worked beautifully. We thought we'd try them at home with our Nespresso machine. Don't bother! These capsules are small compared to other Nespresso compatible capsules. It means you get lots of wasted coffee leaking into the pod collection area as a sufficient seal can't be made to force the coffee through to the cup. As a result of both lost coffee and the lack of pressure, any coffee you do get takes an age to get pumped through. The whole effort is just a woeful experience. When you eventually get your coffee though, the flavour IS great, but the time it takes and the wasted coffee just isn't worth it. I'm going back to my usual strength 12 L'Or capsules! Make the capsules the right size Caffè Borbone, and I'll be back like a shot. Good value for money (if they worked!)

I ve been buying Borbone for year now and i always do my order here chhoosing the blue or red miscela. This red one is medium strong my favourite if u want something more light then go for the blue and if u want stronger get the black one. I can t be more happy even with the price and the 100 pods box. I used them in a new nespresso and it s just amazing working even in a really old one i have at work where the bar pressure is really bad and it always comes out amazing just a bit long. If u looking for good pods Borbone is the one.

Ho provato le capsule Caffè Borbone Respresso, Miscela Rossa e sono davvero soddisfatto. L’aroma è intenso e avvolgente, con un gusto pieno che ricorda quello del caffè tradizionale da bar. La tostatura è perfetta: non troppo amara, ma con quella giusta carica di energia che cerco al mattino. Le capsule sono compatibili con le macchine ad uso 30x40 Cm e si inseriscono senza problemi, con un’estrazione uniforme e senza perdite. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo, soprattutto considerando che la confezione contiene 100 capsule, ideali per chi come me consuma più caffè al giorno. Consigliatissime a chi cerca un caffè intenso, aromatico e facile da preparare a casa. Sicuramente le riacquisterò.
