This little bead set has provided hours of fun for my 10 & 11-year-old daughters.Packed in a lightweight bubble wrap envelope, the set contains (almost) everything you need to create some lovely little bracelets and anklets.Included is a great selection of colourful beads and charms (some of which are tiny) with a generous number of fasteners, that are all stored in a rigid plastic case that’s secured by two clips.The inside lid of the case has individual sections to ensure everything stays in its proper place when closed (which it does) and this design allows the lid to be used for sorting those beads you intend using in your designs, with the included tweezers making the process really easy.Overall, this is a fantastic bead set with the only slight negative being the lack of any instructions for those who may be new to the craft.Initial problems with clips falling off, followed by some beads were only resolved after watching a couple of YouTube videos.The clip fasteners need to be assembled and the process proved a little bit tricky for young fingers so Mum had to step in with a pair of pliers to finish things off properly for them.Despite the early frustrations my girls absolutely loved this kit and I’m sure they’ll have many more hours of fun with it (I also can’t wait to see what else they’re going to make).At just under £10 when reviewed this would make a great little gift, although as mentioned, some of the beads are very, very small so this particular kit is not really suitable for younger children.
