PopSocket is the only brand I'd recommend. It folds in very flat and stays that way until you pop it out. It's made of strong materials that last. I had an Pop Socket for years. Got a new phone and ordered a similar product from another company. It was made of cheap material and wouldn't really flatten or stay that way. I threw it away and ordered another PopSocket. I won't make that mistake again!

While I like this pop socket--enough to have bought it twice--it kept breaking on me. The pop socket is essentially two parts: the pop socket itself, and a magnetic ring which you attach to your phone/phone case. It is this ring to which the pop socket itself attaches. I loved this feature as it meant I could take the pop socket off to place my phone in its dock in my car or on my desk and still get wireless charging! Fantastic feature. On the other hand, if any kind of grime gets between the pop socket and the magnetic ring, the pop socket will basically refuse to come off. So, twice, when I tried to remove the pop socket, instead the "pop" part just yanked right out of the socket base. It is absolutely not fixable once this happens which meant I had to trash the entire thing both times! It was very comfortable to use but I frankly think the design was very poor. I should not be able to pull the pop top out of the socket so easily, or if so, it should be easy to fix. Would be cautious about buying unless you are quite fastidious about cleaning between the pop socket and the magnetic ring.

I LOVE this MagSafe pop socket! I have an iPhone XS Max and it is difficult to find MagSafe cases for this model, as it came out before they were a thing. I finally found a frosted white MagSafe case and wanted a white pop socket to use on it. The only one I could find that was attractive was this one from Amazon. It looks clean and perfect on the case, and functions beautifully. VERY happy with this purchase!

Well put together, strong hold on the mag case. Worth the purchase.
