Brixton Men's Messer Medium Brim Felt Fedora Hat

My kid really liked it and fit good on hem.

This hat is perfect! Looks just like the picture and is even better quality than I imagined. It came flattened a little, but it didn't affect the quality and it was easy to pop it back up without issues. My new favorite accessory. I ordered a large for my big head even though I thought I might need an extra large. Large was perfect.

Exact style I’ve always wanted, though a little disappointed that the band was plastic and split. For the price, it should’ve been leather.Otherwise, my favorite hat of all time.

Great looking hat and fits comfortably!

Wonderful hat and well made, but it is quite large. I generally buy XX-large for my husband and got one size smaller, as was suggested by reviewers. It was still quite large on him. We sized it down with Velcro (or 3M's version of it), I found information about using that online. You buy the sticky back kind, and just use the fuzzy side. I also found if you want to use the foam strips for sizing: yes, you can use weather stripping, a type called 'open cell' (as opposed to closed cell). It costs less than $2 at our local hardware store. No need to pay the $20 here.After sizing the hat, it looks great on him. A caution about the color: the khaki color is not the tan we might think of as khaki, but rather a darker color; it reminds me more of the color of uniforms used in WWI. Don't be dissuaded, it is a very nice, rich color. It wasn't what I expected, but I like it even better.

Very good quality, and exactly as described. I wear a Size 7 / 22 in, and this Size 7 is a tad (just a tad) too big. It fits, but there is a little room. The wool is very good quality. The gray color is very nice, though the "leather" band looks and feels more like rubber or plastic; it isn't bad looking at all, just not looking like leather. The hat is not lined inside, but there is a good fabric band on the inside rim. The brim is 2.25 in. wide and has finished edges, and is flat without any downturn in the front or back, or upturn on the sides. All in all, very classy looking, kind of like in "The Adjustment Bureau" way. It is also warm to wear, and good in the fall, winter, spring with the narrower brim in keeping sun off of the face.

This hat is amazing! The medium brim is perfect - I have a small head and every other brim hat I've tried looks like I'm a kid wearing their grandpas hat. Just a smidge large on the sizing so take into account how snug you want it to fit on your head.Word of warning though, if you order this, try to order it as the only item so you have less of a chance of getting one squashed to hell and unwearable! The first hat I ordered was GREAT. But the second came with a few other items and it was packed badly - the brim and sides were squashed in and unable to be put back into any kind of decent shape.

So I bought the wrong size at first and had a small sent to me the next day. These are sold as the same hat but have differences that I can’t say I’m excited about. The medium was great but the small has a ugly blank metal emblem on the leather instead of the leather B. The tag underneath is different, the brim seems to be flimsier & there’s a part on the back that isn’t smooth. the small is adjustable but the medium isn’t. Also be sure to have something else shipped with your hat or they’ll send it in a box that’s too small and leave the hat not looking smooth. Id say I’m 70% satisfied with my purchase but could have gotten a cheaper one for the same quality I bet

Was a wee bit larger than expected, but perhaps I wasn't as full of myself as usual!The old rolled up paper towel under the headband made for a perfect fit!And it is some snazzy hat, even on an old fart like myself!

I’ve had no complaints. They enjoy wearing them and are grateful. I’m a happy customer.

Nachdem ich schon einige Brixton-Mützen erworben habe (Brood; Fiddler), welche bei Grösse L (Kopfumfang 59/60 cm) bei mir bei einem Umfang von 61 cm schon großzügig ausfallen, habe ich beim Brixton Stout (Porkpie) schon feststellen müssen, das die Hüte noch grösser ausfallen als die klassischen Mützen, aber hier beim Mod. Messer wird es langsam absurd…er ist viel zu weit, ca. 2 - 3 cm, damit liegt er m. E. mit ca. 64 cm jenseits einer Größe XL…ich habe ihn jetzt noch einmal in Größe M bestellt, die dazugehörige Rezension erfolgt nach Lieferung…Bereits 2 Tage später war der Hut in der Größe M da, und er passt………also, liebe Leute, kauft Eure Brixton-Hüte lieber eine Nummer kleiner, speziell dieses Modell, oder bestellt euch die passenden Korkstreifen zu reduzieren der Hutgröße gleich dazu…! Der Brixton Stout z.B. ist bei Größe M noch zu eng, bei der L etwas zu weit, also mit Kork auszugleichen…Ich persönlich tendiere dazu, beim Kauf eines Brixton-Hutes meine gemessene Größe sowie eine Nummer kleiner gleichzeitig zu bestellen und es auszuprobiren, so ist man hier auf der sicheren Seite.Diese Erfahrung lässt sich allerdings nicht auf jede Brixton-Kopfbedeckung übertragen, es gilt nur für die Hüte………!
