Great bin, received on time with no dents whatsoever. My only issue is that it didn’t come with the lockable clips for the lid. As it is the lid fits quite well so we will have to wait and see as we will be using it to store bird seed etc. Overall pretty pleased to be fair!

There was a dent in the bottom ... but nothing too noticeable

Great bins for chicken feed. Each bin comfortably hold over 2 bags of mixed corn or layers pellets (20kg bags). Our previous bins were plastic and worked fine until the squirrels leaned how to pop the handles and lift the lids ... and if the handles were tied together then they just ate through the plastic lid (see picture). The metal bins have defeated the critters so far and I am pretty optimistic that it will remain that way. The bins are not the really heavy duty ones that the bin men used to empty by banging them against the lorry... these bins would just become very dented/broken if used like that, but are robust enough to hold 40kg and be lifted by the side handles (the sides of the bin just flex a little). The side handles are approx 7mm diameter so are pretty sturdy, but with 40kg inside they start to get a bit uncomfortable if held for too long without using gloves. They are a lot better than the thin style handles that have a narrow lifting edge (like the handle on the lid but side on). The side handles are riveted on and seem strong enough for a 40kg load. I'd be worried about lifting the bin by the handles if it was full to the brim with sand... I suspect that the rivets would pop or the bin may become distorted. The clips that hold the lid in place are easy enough to use without it being irritating. The wire is pretty thin (appox 1.8mm), but seems adequate for the task in hand. The wire clips should be removable with a pair of pliers if so desired. The lid came quite loose fitting, which makes it easy to remove and replace, especially since the clips can be lightly latched upwards (see picture). Note that the top of the bin can quite easily be distorted which allows a snugger fitting, or if accidentally distorted, need to be rounded back to shape (I would prefer a more rigid/stronger lip). I would be a bit worried about loosing the bin lid on a windy day without the clips and a loose lid. With how the clips work, the bin lid can be easily removed one handed. The bin can be lifted by the lid handle with about 5-10kg of content... the clips seem to be strong enough for that.. One of the bins was "delivered" by dropping it over a 6' gate and had a big of a dent in the side, however it popped back out without leaving a crease when pushed out from the inside. The bins have a clean design, are slightly tapered, are not deeply corrugated and look quite tidy sitting on the patio. Due to the tapering, empty bins can also be stacked quite deeply for storage if desired.

The wood mouse family in the shed are not happy as they have been unable to break in to our bird food supplies. We have replaced plastic bins with one of these, fantastic and good value. Arrived in excellent condition and the extra security on the handles is good. The mice can have their berries but not all the nuts!

Arrived dented both sides but not an issue because you can just push it back out and to do with the driver, not the product. It's very lightweight, so the thinness is to be expected. The handle hooks really keep it secure, which I like. Overall, very good. Perfect putting smaller bins into and keeping the smell in. Looks nice too. Lovely silver colour.

A really good bin delivered on time no dents the lid fits perfectly just a really good quality bin 10/10 for value

Arrived with two massive dents, not robust very flimsily.
