I was making baguettes for the first time after watching the video several times and this tool is just perfect for baguettes and I would expect transferring any other similar sized dough from prep surface to oven surface.

Helps to size the loafs of the 2nd rise
After some experimentation I can size the loaf correctly for a 2nd rise.

Don’t bother
You really don’t need this for baguettes- if you’re making them, you know how to pick them up from the counter and put them on the baking sheet. I used it once.

This works, but I think it might have performed better if it were 1-2 inches longer.

Briefly rinsed off the flour and it warped almost 15 degrees
I briefly rinsed the flour off it on my second use and one end of it warped almost 15 degrees upward, which may well render it useless now.
