Block out a lot of background noise, decent sound quality on calls.

The headphones are quite hefty but they are provide clear sound and people on the other end of the call can hear you very clearly. The active noise cancellation works very effectively as well.

I like that you can just plug the usb port into your laptop/device and it just works, whilst charging. It's easy to change the volume or mute the call and with side tone I can hear my voice, so I don't talk loudly in the office. The noise cancellation however is disappointing. As far as I can tell the headphones only have one mic that deals with active noise cancellation (on the outside of the boom mic). The ANC is pretty good at cutting out the noise of air conditioning, but very poor at cutting out conversations around me. The Bose 700 have great noise cancellation but are much more modern than these headphones released in December 2014. However the Bose 700 do not have a boom mic, so I feel customers can hear me better with these. I wouldn't pay full price for them though. I got a great Amazon Warehouse deal.

ANC isn't bad with music on, but sound quality is pretty grim with no ANC to be honest. I wouldn't choose these headphones purely for music. They won't work properly with my PC no matter what I try, and Jabra support have not responded to the questions I have asked over the past week. Time to get a refund and trade up to Bose's version of this product I think...

Doesnt block out everything, but is pretty good at blocking out certain consistant frequencies.

I bought these to work in an open office. The sound quality was good, but only if you turned on the ANC, which I felt did more than noise cancelling - it seemed to boost higher frequencies and remove some muffle (to me ears). With the ANC on they really do isolate you from the officer noise, but you need to be careful that you don't shout, as they also isolate you from your own voice. For my head I found them snug, and my ears got too hot in them. Maybe because the pads are vinyl ? I've since returned mine as they had a high pitched whine which gave me a headache. At that point I opted for a refund.

Paid way more than the current price as I have been using mine for about 4 years now and are still going strong. I use these for VOIP calls and virtual meetings at work so must use them anywhere between 2 and 4 hours a day. Pro's very comfortable, good level of audio Con's microphone is a little short, people have complained my audio is low. That may just be me, but a longer microphone would increase the amount of sound captured coming from my mouth. I would say that the noise cancelling is adequate rather than superb. As I work from home there's not too much to need to cut out during the day, it does cut out the rumble on aircraft, but I can still hear others talking. One thing to note is that the microphone does not appear to have noise cancelling built in, so if you are in a noisy environment then some background noise will be picked up. This is still one of the better headsets on the market, covers the full ear and is not too uncomfortable for people wearing glasses. Although it's not perfect I would still buy this model over some of the smaller, cheaper, and in my mind less effective Jabra models that my colleagues have.

Unsere Mitabrbeiter sind sich einig darin, dass das Jabra, das Headset ist, das alle Anforderungen derzeit am besten vereint. Wer auf hohen Tragekomfort (auch weniger Gewicht) Wert legt und keine extrem hohe Außengeräuschunterdrückung sucht, fährt aber mit der Sennheiser CC 550 möglicherweise besser. Das Sennheiser hat ebenfalls eine Top-Microfonqualität. Am wenigsten spürt man auf dem Kopf das Plantronics Encore Pro, aber diese beiden Geräte sind in Bezug auf die Geräuschunterdrückung mit dem Jabra in keinster Weise vergleichbar. In dieser Beziehung kenne ich derzeit nichts besseres. Die damit einhergehende Stressreduktion rechtfertigt für betroffene Mitarbeiter auch jeden Euro des Kaufpreises. Das Headset hat es daher auch auf Anhieb in die Liste unserer Standard-Headsets zur professionellen Nutzung geschafft.

I'm in a busy cube farm with frequent distractions aand conference calls. This thing has been a godsend. I can concentrate and get things done. Is plenty comfortable for all day wear. I plugged it in to my cisco phone at work, and the phone lit up with a message recognizing that a Jabra Evolve had been connected. Seamless.
