Great for all ages and inclusive for our special needs child.
I purchased the Yoto player for my special needs son, and it has been a game-changer for us. The Yoto player has been a wonderful addition to our daily routine, providing my son with a fun and interactive way to engage with audio content. The player is easy to use, and my son loves being able to choose his own stories and music by inserting the Yoto cards. The quality of the sound is excellent, and the player is durable and well-made. The variety of content available on the Yoto platform is impressive, and it has kept my son entertained and engaged for hours. The Yoto player has not only provided entertainment but has also helped with my son's cognitive development and communication skills. Overall, I highly recommend the Yoto player for parents with special needs children. It has been a valuable tool in our daily lives and has brought joy and learning opportunities to our son. Thank you, Yoto, for creating such a wonderful product!

Hark! A Most Magnificent Device that Hath Banished Screen-Time Woes!
Hark! A Most Magnificent Device that Hath Banished Screen-Time Woes! Dearest fellow parents, gather 'round as I regale thee with tales of the miraculous Yoto Player, a device most divine that hath transformed our household from a screen-dependent duchy to a realm of audio adventure! Lo, upon Christmas morn, two such devices did grace our abode, bestowed upon our young heirs. What magic did unfold! Mine own six-year-old squire, possessed by such enthusiasm, did devour three complete Dragon Masters tales not once, but TWICE within three days and nights! Such voracity for storytelling hath not been witnessed since the bards of old! But soft! What other wonders doth this device possess? - A timer most noble for teeth-brushing endeavors - Soothing sounds to guide young ones to slumber's embrace - The power to channel music from thy cellular device like a magical minstrel - Tales and adventures aplenty to capture young minds We did acquire protective cases - a delightful cat-eared version for our fair maiden ([behold the feline accessory here](https://amzn.to/4g4ePMc)) and for our young lord, the Yoto brand's own creation ([witness it here](https://amzn.to/4h9tVkg)). Though I shall whisper a secret: the less costly option doth serve just as well as its pricier cousin. 'Tis a rare joy to witness our children, entranced by stories rather than screens, their imaginations soaring like falcons in spring! The Yoto Player hath proven itself a worthy investment, bringing forth entertainment most pure and education most subtle. Verily, I say unto thee: if thou seeketh a way to reduce the tyranny of screens while keeping thy children thoroughly entertained, this device shall be thy salvation! 'Tis worth every farthing and more! In conclusion, dear friends, get thee to the marketplace and procure this magical box of wonders! Your offspring shall thank thee, and peace shall reign in thy kingdom! (P.S. The bluetooth feature works so well, methinks even the court jester could figure it out!)

Listen to the Yoto daily podcast! Such a great feature!
We love our Yoto. From the myo cards where we can add whatever content fits the needs of our family values and give our daughter the ability to choose what she would like to listen to from those options. We do not do screen time yet but we have a book/music loving toddler who can’t completely verbalize what she wants yet but has a bit of an independent streak already. The cards we have purchased have been amazing! The sounds quality is great, the icons are adorable and not overly stimulating. The cards are sturdy and have survived some abuse already. We will be purchasing a mini for its portability and a happy we will have the best of both worlds. I absolutely must mention the daily podcast, Yoto daily. Yoto daily was not one of the features that sold us on buying our Yoto initially, but it’s now possibly our favorite. We bought it for our book and music loving 14 month old and so we would be able to have family record themselves reading/talking to her. Now we also have Jake as an extended part of our family. We began using the Yoto during our daily family morning routine and we now start everyday with Jake on Yoto daily. While our daughter may still be a bit young for some of it, It creates lots of good conversation and bonding for us. Even my husband and I learn new things almost daily. As our daughter gets older we are looking forward to her participating in the draw alongs and maybe even sending in her own messages. Thank you Yoto for creating such wholesome content that stretches across oceans and continents to connect our family to so many kind strangers that teach us about the different places, people, and traditions of the world. BIG thank you to Jake for being with us while we make our coffees and breakfast and being such a great way to start our day, everyday.

Excellent and fun!
A friend recommended this over a year ago, and I put off the purchase until recently. I should NOT have waited. My kids love this (all 8 and under). My oldest two pop in a good book, and listen to it while falling asleep. They love checking out the little updates every morning, and seeing that the screen can do. They're learning to understand time, and love the little clock. While the "nightlight" is not as bright as they like, I can understand why. The controls are easy to use, and paired with the app are an excellent feature. Being able to set the max volume levels for day and night time is awesome, and keeps them from blasting the story so loud we can hear downstairs. The battery holds great, and lets them move from the charge, into the shelf between them during bedtime to hear the story better. Cannot recommend this enough. Well worth the price.

My child loves audiobooks, I don't like tying up my phone to Bluetooth stories to a speaker or her headphones. The Yoto gives me so much freedom and her so much autonomy, she loves pulling the cards out and putting them in to change stories. I love that it is not connected to the internet and not really a 'screen'. Listening to stories is much better for her growing brain than just TV. She often plays with her toys, or paints/draws while listening. Sometimes when friends are over they listen together. We borrow books from the library for it, and we record ourselves reading stories for the Make Your Own cards. I love that I can make little pixel pictures to put on the screen for her. The user made content on Yoto Space is so cute, and also inspiring, there are some talented folks out there! She loves the cheery Yoto Daily podcast and the night music radio. Really I can't say enough, I'm constantly recommending this to friends with kids, best money we spent on entertainment and education in years.

I know it's ment mainly for kids but if your someone with asd that loves a lot of book between the ages of 9-over (example: the best Alan Bennet reading A.A.Milnes Winnie-The-Pooh) , likes the beatles and or is having trouble finding the perfect e-ink radio then you'll love this ⏰️ 📖 🎶 I think it's a brilliant little bedroom audiobook clock with a huge range of music, books and educational podcasts to choose from. Very easy to use with bilt in Bluetooth. I like that is has a create your own cards In the apps section so if you don't find the songs or books you want to listen to then just download it from a different sight onto your blank card and your good to go. Because it has an eink screen this means you won't get eyestrain from the light at night.

I got this for Christmas for my 3 year old twins and they love it. They can change the cards and turn it on themselves and they love listening to the stories. The selection of stories is excellent. The bedtime process is so much quicker with the yoto player and in the mornings when they wake up they will turn it back on and listen quietly in bed until it’s time to get up for the day.

Got this for my 2 year old for Christmas, so he hasn’t played with it yet. But I’ve set it up and downloaded some cards and the app, and I think it’s one of the coolest toys! I have been using the app to play our cards in the car so he gets familiar with them. Hoping that will make it even better on Christmas when he starts playing with it himself. It seemed a bit intimidating at first because of how much this thing can do and how many ways there are to interact with it, but after a few minutes of playing around with it, I had it figure out and I appreciate the simplicity of the unit and the advanced features offered through the app to help you customize it for your kiddo.

We bought this for our daughter's fourth birthday present, and whilst she likes it, our six year old, nine year old and even our eleven year old love it more. We bought the Peter Rabbit collection (we have the books and they have been well read over the years), this is a great purchase for the Yoto. Different voices per story, some famous, some not. It's expensive at £30 but has been a big hit so far. We also bought traditional songs (has a lady bird on the front). These seem a hit with our kids, but they are US songs which don't exactly overlap. Baa Baa Black Sheep is different for example. It's cute though, so we won't send it back. We have yet to try the personal recordings, this sounds like a fun thing do, have Daddy read some book favourites and have his voice come through the Yoto whilst he's at work! The Yoto seems like an excellent birthday gift, as a shared gift or otherwise, I'd definitely encourage retiring your screens and getting them kids into this. You need a WiFi connection to set up stories but after that you don't need it. That's a plus in my book too.
