Gain Liquid Laundry Detergent, Original Scent, 113 fl oz, 78 Loads, Freshness + Odor Fighting, High Efficiency Washing Machine Liquid Cleaning Soap

We've been using Gain for years. It doesn't gunk up the detergent reservoir in my washing machine. The clothes come out clean but some t-shirt drips may need a little pre-treating. I think this is normal enough. The aroma is pleasant as the clothes are removed from the washer but really don't notice much of a scent after drying. I think this is probably a good thing. Fresh, not perfumed. The 184 fl oz size lasts the two of us almost 6 months of once-a-week use and the price is right for a quality brand product. One bit of oddness, the packaging. It looks very similar to the Gain fabric softener. So similar that I've started pouring from the wrong bottle a couple of times. It only says "detergent" in very small writing on the bottom right of the label. Minus one star for me for not paying attention. But "DETERGENT" in nice big letters would be helpful. No thoughts of changing. Happy with how it works.

I am a loyal Gain user for life. This detergent is so easy to use, pour a small cup in the bottom of my washer, throw my items in, and gain does the rest. This detergent's quality is unmatched, it simply gets the job done every time. Stains. Gone. Every time. My whites actually come out white. And when my clothes come out of the dryer, you bet I'm sticking my face right in my towels and grabbing a big wiff of Gain, because it leaves my clothes so soft and smelling like clean, fresh, reminds me of home. Every single time. One last thing, Gain dissolves easily so you will never have your clothes coming out with detergent stains. Iver been a Gainer for 20 years and every single one of my girlfriends has always complimented me for the way my sheets, towels, and clothes smell and I've always told them that I wish I could take all the credit, but really it's because I use Gain!

Great smell, far less expensive than some of those other brands and it works perfectly.

We accidentally ordered a three-pack of this Gain Original Scent detergent through a subscription, even though we usually use Tide. But honestly, we might not go back. The scent is fresh and long-lasting, and it actually makes laundry smell as good as any other brand. We have a Samsung high-efficiency washer, and this detergent works perfectly with it. You only need a small amount for a full load, and everything comes out clean and smelling great. Because we use so little each time, one jug lasts a long time, which makes it a solid value. It’s also worth mentioning, Gain’s commercials are some of the best on TV. They’re what got us to give it a try in the first place, and now we’re glad we did. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a good switch or just want to try something new.

I really like the Gain Original Scent Liquid Laundry Detergent — it leaves my clothes smelling amazing and super fresh for days! It handles odors really well and keeps everything clean, even with larger loads. Plus, the 154 fl oz bottle lasts a long time (about 107 loads), which makes it a great value. Works perfectly with my HE washing machine, too!

I love the original scent gain. It just smells so fresh and clean. I use this stuff primarily for my bedding because it just makes the experience of going to bed better. The fresh clean smell is actually very relaxing and cozy. I would give it 5 stars but they have changed the formula to lighten up on the fragrance. This stuff used to be so potent it would make my whole musty basement smell fresh and clean when doing laundry and that is no easy task. Today the scent is the same but much more toned down. The do make scent booster beads to enhance the fragrance but it still doesn't feel the same and ethically it feels like a rip off to have to buy a second product to not even make it as good as it used to be. To be fair, they may have made this change because people did not actually like that amount of fragrance but I absolutely loved it and have been a customer ever since trying it.

This is absolutely the only laundry detergent I can use without it breaking out my skin or anything like that. It smells amazing and cleans really good it's not sticky like most laundry detergents. The only problem is the caps are not on right so it causes the detergant to leak through the box. They should tape the caps down like they do for the fabric softener.
