Heel Foam Dressing, Non-Adhesive Hydrophilic Pads, Highly Absorbent 5.5 x 4 in Pack of 5 Waterproof Dressing for Wound Care

I ordered these heel foam dressings hoping that they would help my husband’s pressure sores on his heel. I purchased another heel protector with a strap to hold them on. The strap heel protector was irritating and he took it off in the middle of the night. Unbelievably these cushions stayed on his heel. Come to find out the reason it stayed was that I use a product called “Skin Prep” which applies a film to the skin so that bandages can adhere more easily to the skin. The cushion stays on until I take it off. The cushion comes off easily and does not hurt. I do so about every other day. This works perfectly. His heels are so much better with out the constant rubbing as he sleeps. What a lifesaver!

Easily trimmable as needed. Don't even need to use adhesive to keep in please when wearing a sock over the cushion.

Can’t keep them on

I used these on my mom’s heels when she was bedridden. They helped her heels to be able to somewhat heal and not form more bedsores. She passed away last week. These were helpful in giving her comfort.

Fast service and is just right for heel injury. It takes quite a bit of tape to hold it on, but so wonderful that things like this are available to help someone get well.
