I would recommend this. I think this is the best ironing board cover out there. Padding is sufficient, thick. Elastic all the way around fits over the board perfectly, nice and tight. Smooth ironing surface. I liked the velcro tightening straps. It was exactly what I wanted. Just like the one my Mom had for years.

Picked this up to replace my old worn out cover and it works fine. The fit is good on my standard sized ironing board - the elastic and drawstring keep it secure without any slipping around. The padding thickness is decent, maybe not super thick but enough to make ironing comfortable. I actually kept my old padding underneath for a bit of extra cushion which works well. The floral pattern looks nice too if that matters to you. One thing they advertise is that the silicone coating is supposed to make ironing faster and easier somehow. Honestly I haven't really noticed a huge difference in that regard compared to my previous cover. It irons just fine but not like remarkably better or anything. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but it seems pretty much the same experience as before. The material quality seems solid though and should hold up well over time. Been using it for a few weeks now and no issues with wear or the elastic losing tension. For the price it's a good value. Does what an ironing board cover should do - protects the board, provides some padding, stays in place. Just don't expect any magical improvement in your ironing speed like some of the marketing suggests. Still happy with the purchase overall.
