Perfect with no fishy smell or taste to the applied product
I used this product to make black brioche slider rolls. My recipe calls for me to leave the dough in the refrigerator for 24hours to let the flavor develop. I was significantly worried that the bread will have an off putting fishy taste. But, there was no evidence of a fish taste or smell. Perfect for the job and the outcome was spectacular!

Perfect size!
Great product. I've really enjoyed not having to open a full jar guys to use a few grams. The color is great. The taste is there. This is Perfect for small batch. I used 2 packets with 9 egg yolks, 165g of 00, and 55g of durum and made a beautiful Agnolotti.

Definitely turns things black!
I requested the Cuttlefish Squid Ink Imported from Spain after encountering arroz negro (black paella) in Portugal. I didn't realize at first that the squid ink also adds a flavor--a little salty, a little fishy--as well as color! This is the first squid ink I've tried, so I don't know if it is saltier or fishier than other brands, but I'd recommend reserving or halving the salt on your dish until you've tasted it with the squid ink, and then salting to taste at the end. Other than that surprise, easily adjusted for, this is great, and has allowed me to cook some delicious new foods at home.
