Incredible quality at this price point. Super slicer and stays sharp for a long, long time. Highly recommended. When it comes to knives it's very hard to beat Japan.

Sharp, well made
This is razor sharp, its also 63 on the hardness scale, its meant for slicing not smashing, use it with care and it'll last forever. Its sharp enough I use it to score sourdough.

As with my other Miyabi’s, this paring knife is beautiful, sharp, and functional. Worth the price for sure if you are serious about your kitchen tools.

Great knife!!!
I have two of these knives. They are very light and feel great in your hand. Very sharp out of the box. The blade is very thin but strong. You will need to cut on a cutting board not on your hard countertop.

Perfect size for chopping vegetables. Cuts smooth and quick. Comfortable handle. Strong.

Beautiful but
I absolutely love love love the blade but my Wusthoff Ikon handle is so much more comfortable.Miyabi the round shape makes the grip a bit big for a woman and it is short so i am hanging off the back or the unsharpened part of the blade is digging into my hand.
