Terrible product - wouldn't go near it
Couldn't get it to pair in the iPhone app. Phoned Yale support who promised to call me back. Emailed them, no response at all.As a software developer, I imagined that despite the negative application reviews, I'd be able to work out how to use it, but the app is genuinely as difficult to navigate as has previously been described.Purchase at your own peril..

Peace of mind in a BOX!
I got this camera on a lightning deal 49% off so I thought I would give it a try after purchasing a Yale smart home alarm system.Although it doesn’t intergrate with the the alarm app it does have a link within the app which opens the app for the camera instantly.I’ve found the app easy to use and works, after reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive, but I am pleasantly surprised.Only thing missing is being able to auto record clips as I don’t have a DVR. I am hoping to add an external system with a DVR which I am confident I can intergrate this internal camera. You can manually record clips to your phone through the app. Also the camera has voice prompts when setting up.You can hear sound clearly and turn night vision on and off manually or switch it to auto I personally have found I get a great picture with night vision off permanently. You can also speak back which is a great feature! All in all a cheap and affective camera to communicate & monitor your home!

Great if you're looking for a mouse in the kitchen but not suitable as a home security solution.
Unless you've got advanced troubleshooting IT skills, my advice is that you don't buy this camera. It's not 'easy' to setup, it's the total opposite. We're an IT company ourselves and we had trouble connecting the wireless camera to our router. Eventually, we decided that a wired connection would be the only reliable way to use this camera and that's the way we've been using it since we set it up.The smartphone app is OK but if the movement sensor on the camera has been triggered and recording is in progress, you can't access the app until the recording is complete. So if there's a break-in downstairs and the camera is recording the live action, you can't view the scene live from the app as it unfolds - you can view it later once the recording has finished. Not a good feature.Record quality and cloud uploads are good but the Dropbox feature often requires that you log back in to your account. This can lead to lost files that can only be accessed by removing the SD card from the camera and into a reader. If you want to monitor a remote space that doesn't have critical issues around theft or, you just want to see if you've got a rodent in the kitchen, this camera will work well. If you want to use it for live security monitoring, it definitely will not do an effective job of that.

Yale resting on their reputation, not product quality
For Yale, I expected better. The app is so clunky and integration with their smart alarm system is woeful. Bought a chinese camera for half the price that has a moving head and better app.

Amazing items really
Slightly confusing setup and the app has had a significant update recently - it was truly awful beforehand! The setup process is easier on an iPhone than an Android for some peculiar reason, the QR recognition didn't function as expected via the Samsung S8+, but first time success on an iPhone 6S :/Quality wise, I cannot fault them. They work perfectly day or night and no glitches as yet.One thing that bugs me is the lag of 3rd party APIs. You are 'restricted' to using Dropbox as a Cloud backup platform, I would expect to see OneDrive, GoogleDrive, AWS as a minimum - perhaps this will be enhanced down the road, but for now, just 4 stars.

Don't waste your money
Terrible. After struggling with the installation, I eventually managed to get my cameras up and running. But it seems pointless if 9/10 occasions I attempt to view my camera it is offline. Waste of money, look elsewhere for an IP camera.

Great for the money
Second one I’ve bought, great for the money with no hidden costs. Could watch aboard and use the voice/speaker with easy. Night vision ok/good depending on the distance away from viewing point

No recognizable serial number
Camera doesn't feel like the same quality as my other Yale products. Could not connect to either Yale app as serial number not recognized by the system. Had to return it.
