Shazam 2-Film Collection (Blu-Ray + Digital)

Pretty good movies. We had seen parts of them on the Telly but haven't seen them all the way through or the uncut version. Having subtitles really helps me since I am hearing impaired. I love the story line; the actors are great, and the stunts are pretty out of this world. I keep hoping that they will make another one soon.

I absolutely love these movies! They are a good comedy film to enjoy.

The best part of this collection was the quality of the films: all included what are presumably the best Blu-ray restored versions as well as all of the extras for the films. They were simply fantastic. The extras often had longer running lengths than the features themselves. Make sure you look over the titles to determine if this collection is valuable to you. I had not seen many of them, and many spent years on my list of films to see. I was certainly disappointed in some and wonderfully surprised with others. Of course, that's all a personal choice. I found it interesting that for those titles that I thought were dogs to hear in the extras of all of the reviewers or people involved in the making of the films how they thought the movies were groundbreaking or of significant importance in the history of film-making. The packaging for this collection was over-the-top for me, and probably added to the cost. Fortunately, this box set was heavily reduced in price, presumably because Blu-rays and DVDs are being phased out in favor of streaming. That is a real shame, because having the discs and all of the extras make for a full experience, not a temporal one. The only real issue I have is that the individual discs fit into slots in each heavy paper-stock page, and the slots in many cases were so tight that it was impossible to pull the discs out without grabbing the discs really hard, leaving fingerprint residue on the discs. I would have preferred standard plastic snap-on sleeves.
