My wife bought this set for me for my B-day this year. The tips were all great (I've had mixed experiences with some other Kolinsky Sable brushes whose tips split the first time they were wet, and couldn't be corrected with cleaning and conditioner. You get a great selection of brushes and Kolinsky sable pointed rounds hold more paint in their belly and have a sharper tips than synthetics (I haven't had to use the 3/0 in this set yet, since the points are so sharp). I have an earlier version where the print on the brushes wore off upon first use, but I heard this has been corrected. However this means I'm not sure which of the two #2s I liked better (one suited my needs and style a lot better than the other). The zippered carrying case is also great, and it also allows me to use it as a quick black background when snapping a quick pic without my photo box or to show something on stream. At this price for 5 kolinsky sable brushes plus two drybrushes (not sable), this makes the brushes a much better deal than most if not all artist brand Kolinsky Sable brushes on a per brush basis.

Update: Over 5 months of using these brushes now and they are still awesome. Tips are holding great, and I haven't even used the second #2 yet.I'm a miniature painter that paints 12-15 hours per week. I've been using these brushes for a few months now and highly recommend them. I was a big fan of Rosemary & Co. Series 33 (no longer available in the US), and these have been a welcome replacement. This set includes a nice assortment of brushes for miniature painting, come in a great travel case and have held up nicely over time with regular care. The price is great for brushes of this quality and with 2 #2 brushes included, you should get a year or more of regular use out of these.

Very impressed with he presentation of these brushes. Each brush comes individually wrapped inside the case, as well, each brush also has the plastic tube protecting the bristles. I can honestly say this is the first set of brushes I've gotten that did not have misshaped bristles when I received them. Each brush, minus the dry brushes, had a needle sharp point right out of the wrapping. I haven't had any issue yet with the brushes returning to a fine point after use. As long as you follow the provided instructions and only get paint on the last 1/3 of the bristles you will be fine. These brushes are super easy to clean. A few swishes in my water cup and a quick wipe on a papertowel and they are ready to be loaded with paint again. There is a great selection of brushes sizes that come in this set. There really should be no need to have to get any other different sizes. The dry brushes are very soft and seem to glide across the surface I'm dry brushing. I use my dry brushes for base coating and pulling out highlights. These dry brushes do not disappoint. I've used many other brands of drybrushes before and these do not seem to be as tedious to clean out as the other brands. Even with a full dunk in the water cup to clean, they dry out fast are ready to go again. I've used everything from Raphael 8404s to W&N, Rosemary & Co to DaVinci brushes, the brushes from FOXBITE are quickly becoming my go to brushes for everything. I've started to notice that more and more the brushes from FOXBITE are the only ones left on my painting table at the end of a session. The others just end up getting put away. I highly recommend giving these brushes a try. You won't be disappointed.

Solid enough kit. Single brush was heavily frayed before I could even use it.Not worth returning the whole set for a single brush but I won't order again

These are quality brushes! Right out of the box, I could tell these will be my go to brushes from now on. The difference when using these brushes compared to synthetic is mind blowing.The way the brush flows onto your miniature, the way it feels. Just incredible, truly.Synthetic brushes will still be useful for washes, metallic and other materials but these for detail!

First things first. This review is coming from the perspective of a person who has only used synthetic hair brushes. I paint anywhere from 2-8hours, roughly 6 days a week, on wargaming miniatures as a commission artist.These were given to me to test for the exact purpose of my perspective of trying real hair brushes for the first time. All I was asked by Foxbite in return was to give "Honest feedback" so now that I've used these for a month straight (roughly 170ish hours), I feel comfortable giving my review.TLDR: Great for first time real hair users, awesome value, industry standard thin handles, and they fixed the label rubbing off issue for all others after my set.Coming from synthetic brushes, these have been an absolute dream of an upgrade. I'm pretty bad with upkeep with cleaning my brushes, so I have only cleaned these twice in a 31 day period. Obviously you should shoot for cleaning way more regularly than that. at least once a week when it comes to real hair.I LOVE the #2 size (sloth and greed) and the tips have stayed pretty awesome to where I barely need any of the other brushes even when working on MINIATURES. They hold acrylic paint like a freaking champ to where I had to adjust how much I was loading the brush so as not to overload. Because the belly of the brush holds paint so well, I found myself not even getting close to the feral of the brush while loading at all, which keeps paint from destroying brushes. The price of this pack is a GREAT VALUE, especially if you're dipping your toes for the first time into real hair brushes like I am.The Drybrushes are really great and I have found myself using them more and more. Before these, I would just get cheap makeup brushes from the dollar store or used ones from my significant other. I haven't touched those makeup brushes since getting these. I LOVE THE THICK HANDLES OF THE DRYBRUSHES.This leads me to the Cons, which are complaints I have ABOUT ALL BRUSHES. As someone with damaged bone, nerve, tissue, and muscles in my dominant hand, I don't like how every company makes the handles so incredibly thin. I know the reason they do this is to have a nice taper for the feral that holds the hairs. So I resort to using medical tape to build up a grip for all my brushes, including these. This hurt me doing this with these in particular because I love the handle color of this set. But again, most people don't have this issue that I have, and 99% of brushes out there all have these same exact sizes so MOST of you will not even notice.After talking with Foxbite, they informed me that the only other gripe I had is already fixed with every batch after the ones I recieved. A ton of brush companies don't varnish or gloss coat their handles so after a while all the print on them literally rubs off. Foxbite informed me that every batch after mine will now have that varnish or gloss coat on the handles so that is absolutely amazing they are open to making their product as good as they can! not alot of companies are willing to make changes like this so its important that I shared it!I do really recommend Foxbite brushes, especially coming from the perspective I have come from. These brushes have a good belly and a good snap! The paint goes on the model very smooth and it's comfortable to hold in my hand. Highly recommend!

While there was a problem with customs and shipping, custumer support were imediately ready to help. The issue was resolved really quickly and beyond my satisfaction.Product itself is amazing, good quality andeasy to use, also product arrived in perfect condition.Would recomend and will order from the shop again if in need of similar product.

These are great brushes for a fair price. Tip is nice and sharp. No problems out of the box. I've only had them a couple of weeks so longevity remains to be seen, but so far so good!

Ok… seriously..this is the third FOXBITE product I’ve bought and I just can’t get over the quality for the low price! These brushes totally levelled up my miniature painting! FOXBITE please keep making more amazing miniature paintings products! They are simply beautiful to work with!
