Lucas Oil 10002 Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer, 3.785 Litre, White

I have an Audi Q7 which like most engine if this gen has a timing chain rattle on start up due to the tensioner losing it's oil pressure while stood overnight and then rattling on start up for a couple of seconds until it builds oil pressure in the tentioner, it's done this since I've owned the car.I say this and thought I'd give it a try and well this additive has completely stopped the rattle on start up, I don't mean improved it, I mean it's just doesn't rattle on start up any more at all. The engine also genuinely feels smooth are and quieter as well (not that it was bad before) it just feels better.Great product that actually does what they say it does.I'm shocked it worked this well, but it has so I'll recommend it.Now I am in no way saying it will fix all faulty engines but if you have a rattle, an old high mileage engine or just want to improve and prevent issues give this a try as in my experience it works.

It may be a product that many folk hold with suspicion, however I'm thrilled to see it working. After buying an old land rover V8 with a very irritating tick in the engine that could not be diagnosed, even after taking the rocker covers off, changing the spark plugs, oil (twice in two weeks if ownership) and filters...adding this product to the correct weight of engine oil all but stopped the noise, it runs better, steadily gets up to temperature and the oil pressure is spot on, even after a long journey under heavy load.I'd suggest using half the measured amount to begin with, give your vehicle a run, let it settle over night and add the rest of the bottle to a cold engine. Run it again in a condition where the engine runs at over 2000 rpm for more than 10 minutes and you can hear the engine become quieter. Since last month and 1200 miles, I've not had any issue with the former problems and it starts first time, every time with the oil light going out on ignition, the oil pressure staying stable even on journeys up steep climbs.I'll be changing the oil in 6000 miles to check the condition and if all good, certainly using it again.

If you like your car than this is Must-Have. I just changed my engine oil with previously added this Lucas Oil Synthetic Stabilizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The drained oil was so black that even has dark blue shade. And when I removed the oil from the pan and wipe it out with T-shirt there was no residues left in the pan walls. This means that this Stabilizer has excellent washing-up qualities and keep all the dirt in the oil. And engine surface from inside is always shine.Very Happy!!!! 10**********
