This is a great ice cream scoop. I got one years ago from my Schwan's guy and would not use anything else. We had to replace it after a house fire and I am so glad to find one online as I don't have a Schwan's guy any more. I have bad arthritis and this is so easy on my hands and super sturdy. At last my spoons won't get bent dipping ice cream. ;>)

Excellent Product. I am able to scoop ice cream straight from the freezer with no problem. It is very sturdy, and since there are no moving parts or complicated curves it is very easy to clean.

My girlfriend had one of these and I had to get one too! It really works the best for slicing through ice cream with little effort. He probably has other uses too but I'm still working on the ice cream thing!

Our previous ice cream spade turned weird and left ugly black sludge on the ice cream after someone mistakenly put it in the dishwasher; we had to throw it away; it was disgusting. This one is much better. A sharp blade that really cuts into the hard ice cream. Wood handle. Easy to use. Easy to rinse and dry.

We ordered this Ice Cream Spade last week and are in LOVE! It is easy to use and with the angled front edge and thick handle scooping through thick ice cream is a breeze. I also used it for scooping out a berry cobbler and it worked GREAT! We will use this everyday this summer :)

I really like the spade shape for scooping ice cream, and it was important for me to find a wooden handle. I have been disappointed in how quickly the wood handle has deteriorated. It's still strong, but the edges are all worn which happened after only washing it a small handful of times. We don't own a dishwasher, so I've only washed it in the sink by hand and I don't leave it to soak. It looks like I took sandpaper to it. It looks shabby now, but the actual metal part works great.
