Very well made and fun to play with, will probably get a few more of them in different games.

This escape room in a box is one of 4 for hiding money for the recipient to solve in order to obtain their Christmas gift. Grandma went through the entire solution steps to find the hidden compartment to hide the money and then reset the whole box back to the original setting. It is not Christmas yet but I had fun solving it due to the YouTube instructions or manufacturers website instructions. Without them, Grandma would not have had a clue. Sure hope they don't take a hammer to them as they made out of balsam like wood and depending on the solution step you needed several hands to keep the movement of pieces in place. I thought about using toothpicks to keep a new setting in place while I place other settings in the same instructions so there was no movement for the next step which might be removing pieces of the box. Definitely a different way to hide money or a gift card and make the recipient work for it!

I purchased this as a gift and had some questions. The seller was AMAZING and answered all my questions thoroughly and quickly. It is pretty fiddly at times but overall I was very pleased with this purchase and the intended recipient will love it! I was really hesitant to purchase this because of the cost and a few bad reviews, but the seller offered a full refund when I had a concern, just FYI in case anyone else shares that concern.

*contains spoilers* I had high hopes for this puzzle. I had heard good things about it and it seemed to have an average high rating. Unfortunately, the product I received fell in with those that had the same issue. From the beginning they tell you not to use force. Except in order for me to get the first Sakura flower out, I literally had to muscle it with the spring pressed it. I initially thought maybe it was a spring for something else because the 7th Sakura wasn't moving at all when I pushed the spring in but the 4th was. I eventually relented and watched the hint since I saw nothing else to make progress on. The frustration I felt when I saw I was right but mine didn't work as smooth as the video. I wish I could say that was the only part that wasn't smooth but almost everything else was just as clunky and hard to move as the first part. I legitimately lost interest in the puzzle after the 4th Sakura flower which I discovered I missed AFTER I find the go, numbers on the bottom and everything else. I didn't really find anything "logical" about the game and with its clunky and often stuck parts, I felt really let down by this puzzle.

This was the second puzzle we tried from the same manufacturer. The presentation gets 5 stars, it really is interesting to look at. It is sturdy enough to withstand regular puzzle solving attempts. The way it's supposed to work is that you look for the clues on the box that will help you solve the puzzle. It was easy to get started on it. However, after the initial steps, there were new clues revealed that are in Japanese (I think). We don't know Japanese and we're not sure how to use those. It kept my 15 year old occupied for about an hour and then he lost interest without solving it. I'll update my review after we solve it, but overall we liked Fort Knox puzzle better.

Have done a few puzzle boxes and this is one of my favorites. The solutions were all very well thought out and the pieces moved and functioned as expected for a wooden puzzle box. The only negative I have is that there is almost no margin of error on the sliders so they have to be mm perfect.

I love how you had to use different types of sense in order to solve the box. Rolling a bead around and feeling it hit the walls in the pattern, turning a dial until it let's go of something, and then setting things based on number cues matching on charts. Well the box was incredibly challenging and I absolutely love that, putting it back together was definitely a bit more difficult for me. But I would gladly do it again. Definitely worth the money and time.

Sympa à ouvrir, des logiques différentes à avoir. Possibilité d'ouvrir rapidement sans faire les énigmes pour y cacher un petit cadeau ou un mot. (L'ouverture rapide ne peut pas de faire au hasard)

Me encantan este tipo de cajas los acertijos estan muy bien logrados la recomiendo 100% ............... Piezas atacadas o que no salen bien..... Algunas piezas o llaves se atascan o estan muy duras para tirar de ellas eso es debido a las pequeñas revabas que tiene el cote de la madera. La solucion es rebajarlas unas micras con un papel de lija fino e ir probando para que se queden bien fijadas pero no sueltas y solucionado el problema.

Ho comprato questo prodotto per il mio fidanzato come idea regalo per l'anniversario, in quanto ero in cerca di un regalo diverso dal solito e particolare. Ne sono rimasta pienamente soddisfatta, mi è piaciuta moltissimo, bella costruzione come si può vedere dalle foto allegate. Costruito molto bene in legno, buona qualità, bei meccanismi di ingranaggio. Nel pacchetto l'azienda fornisce anche dei cartoncini dove viene spiegata e raccontata la storia dell'oggetto e un collegamento al sito per suggerimenti in caso si necessita di aiuto e di soluzioni nel caso in cui non si riesca. Inoltre una guida per una apertura rapida che permetta di aprire lo scomparto segreto per inserire un ulteriore regalo od altro ( come ho fatto io) per non spoilerassi tutti i passaggi. Soldi ben spesi. Lo consiglio.
