I washed this mattress topper before I put it on my daughter’s bed, as I always do when I purchase new clothing or bedding. I washed it in a normal wash and was very happy that it didn't lose any of its softness or structure and that I will be able to wash it without any problems in the future.The mattress on my daughter’s bed is one of the thick Ikea ones, and the elastic straps from this topper are big enough to get over it without any problems. The topper stays securely in place, and my child has reported having a luxurious quality of sleep thanks to it. I could not get her out of bed before, and now getting my teenage daughter up is near impossible. However, she sleeps so well and wakes up in such a good mood that I am happy with this.I got this topper in the summer, so I do not know how it will perform during the cold winter nights, but it is doing a great job in the warm weather and does not overheat my child.This mattress topper is great to add more softness to a new bed or if you are trying to make an old one more comfortable. I am recommending it as it is so much cheaper than buying a new mattress and can immediately improve the quality of sleep.

I got the top for a single bed and it is very soft and adds a good layer of comfort to the bed.The material is very good and easy to install, but the photos from the product don't reflect the same. Also, the price is similar to a new mattress.

We get through a lot of these, as our youngest son is disabled and has incontinence issues. While we do use pads and waterproof mattress protectors, they're still not enough and we use these to protect the mattress and just replace them every so often, or rotate them while they are in the wash. We find it's not only more hygienic for him, but cheaper too. This does say it's machine washable, and it easily fits in my machine, however I have not done this yet. This is really important to us, as we wash them so frequently. This topper is super comfy and finished to a very high standard. It is very snuggly sealed on delivery, and does need a very good shake after opening and I would recommend leaving for a few hours to settle before sleeping on it. As with any mattress topper, I would recommend buying extra deep bed sheets so that they stay in place better and just fit nicer, but I find that with any mattress topper, particularly the better quality thicker ones, like this.

This is a lovely thick topper. When unrolled I pulled the cushioning apart in each section to get air back in and puff up. We used to top an air bed and it was really comfortable to sleep on. Lovely and soft and good quality

This is a thick mattress topper actually. After I open it, let it release about 6 hours, then I measured it, it is nearly about 4”, it is cloud like, very soft fillings. This thick mattress topper feels very cosy and extra soft for the mattress. It is quite good for a old mattress, helps sleeping more comfortable.

Great mattress topper for the guest bed. Makes sleeping on a single foldable bed that much more bearable! Very happy with this product.

This mattress topper arrived in a relatively small box and I initially thought there was no way it could be four inches thick. That was before I realised it was vacuum packed. Taking it out of the bag, it plumped itself up within a day and was fine to use on the bed the same day.In use it is soft and comfortable and yes it is four inches thick. It's not memory foam so it will need a shake from time to time to keep it in shape.Good value for the money and it really does add an extra layer of comfort and softness to bedtime. Recommended.
