I’d love to tell you first-hand that this harness works as designed, but I only got it to have it around when I need to adapt to a seven-pin setup. As it looks, it appears it will serve me well.When I do have opportunity to engage this harness, I will report back.

Overall good construction at a good price for this trailer adapter. The 5-way trailer end is molded on to the individual wires so corrosion and shorts are minimal worries. the wires are loomed not jacketed, but there is a piece of heat shrink near the connector to give it a more finished appearance - manufacturer didn't have to do this and its a nice touch. The wires are hand terminated inside of the 7-way vehicle side connector - not ideal, but can be taken apart easily if needed. There is a rubber seal around the loom that should keep most water out but not all; I wouldn't leave this outside for extended periods.The adapter is a little over a foot long end to end which, in my opinion, longer than it needs to be and you might need to secure your harness up so it doesn't drag while driving. Overall its a recommend for an adapter you will probably only use occasionally and will last you a long time.
