Color:Camo The MS7 can connect to a local Wifi network and email photos to you without the need for a cellular plan or connection. You can check camera status, change programming options and receive images wirelessly from any location with internet service. A TOTALLY NEW DIRECTION IN FORM AND FUNCTION! Who says that Cameras have to be square? Our revolutionary new cylindrical design greatly reduces the profile of the Camera, shrinking it to approximately 2" in diameter and only 5" long. Gone is the tell-tale strap or bungee cord that could be a dead giveaway to your Camera's location. Now you can mount your MicroFire Camera and aim it in almost any direction with the included Universal Camera Mount. We have also re-imagined how the User interacts with the Camera by removing all the onboard buttons, switches and displays. All controls reside securely on your Smartphone or Tablet via a free Mobile App for Android or iOS devices (certain restrictions apply). You can check Camera status, change programming options and download images and videos wirelessly from up to 100 feet away.

Amazing LPR Camera, Highly Recommend!
This is a one of a kind camera, and I have never seen anything like it before. Over 95 % off the time it captures perfectly clear pictures of vehicle license plates traveling on my road. I have tried other "License Plate Reader Cameras", however nothing came close to the performance of this Reconyx MS 7. The camera was originally made in 2012, but even 6 years later its still one of the top choices for LPR readers. It connects to your homes wifi and send every image in an email when a vehicle passes by. I spent $1000s on a traditional video camera security system, but this was the missing link to fully be able to tell who drives by my home. Detectives are never able to make out license plate numbers from just a traditional video camera located almost high up on a home, I have this installed directly onto my mailbox and get clear pictures of the plates. For its price point at $600, I will say that it is worth every penny. It has been only a few days since my install, and its already starting to pay off. For those who want to make this a permanent installation, get a 3 in lag bolt from Home Depot and screw it into your mailbox post, no one will be able to pull it off.

Not worth the price.
The camera can have decent quality during the day, but don’t expect much at night. This product is marketed as “license plate camera”... this is a bit of a stretch and ithe product is WAY over priced.2 of the biggest downfalls (in my opinion) about this camera are listed below:The camera needs to be fairly close to the street in order to clearly read a license plate. Next to no chance if reading a plate at night (you need some serious lighting to make it happen).Viewing the pictures from the camera is a PAIN, to say the least. You have to download the pictures to your phone in order to view them, unless you buy a separate device for about $35-$50. Then you can possibly view them on the camera without having to download them ALL, just to view the pictures you wanted to see. This may seem silly to complain about, but if there is a 1000 pictures on the camera and you only want to see some from a certain time period... sorry, you have to download them all.I returned this product as I believe it’s not worth more than $200. But that’s just my view on it.

The camera is easy to set up
The camera is easy to set up. The WiFi connection is sometimes hard to connect up to camera. The picture quality is be just a little more clear. Love the idea of not disturbing the camera to change out the SD card. Clarity is a huge factor for the work we do. A clearer pic would be nice, but is still ok for the job. Battery life is grate with just the AA lithium batteries.
