It was great! Exactly as pictured. It wasn't smaller than expected as sometimes happens. The wood looks good but isn't very heavy. If you're a Poe fan or just like dark themed decor,this is perfect! Easy to read the writing, beautiful!

Perfect for the Macabre lover
I got this as a gift for my sister from another mister and she is so in love with it, the little shelves to put her little rocks, crystals, earrings, charms, etc. It goes perfectly with her other Edgar Allen Poe things as well.

Saw Hangers Upside Down
I was eagerly anticipating this product, but upon receiving it, I discovered that the saw hangers were installed upside down. Despite my initial frustration with the thought of returning it, I improvised a solution to hang it on the wall, albeit temporarily. My suggestion to the manufacturer is to take more time and care during the construction process. It shouldn't be difficult to ensure that the saw hangers are correctly positioned.
