Great hot water dispenser
We have had countertop water heaters for years. Recently, the current one started to make noise like the seal was leaking……time to get a new one. My wife ordered a new one but sent me a link to this product, saying that at our new house (we hope to start building in the next 6 months), saying this is what she wants. I read the listing and realized we had a soap dispenser pump that never worked. I checked out the hole and it was the right size. Power was already available under the sink. This product was not difficult to install, but you do have to take your time and make sure you understand the steps before you get started. The unit was light weight, but well built. The sink top unit was top notch and nearly matched our existing faucet. I added the water filter as well, which was also easy to install and connect to the unit. After setup, 30 minutes later had piping hot water. So hot, it was boiling ad pushing steam out the countertop unit. I had to back the heat off just a little and now we have excellent hot water anytime and no need to refill the countertop unit when it gets empty……oh yeah….more counter space because this thing isn’t sitting on top taking up space. I would definitely recommend this product.

Wonderful faucet.
I love these hot water faucets. I drink a lot of hot tea and it's so convenient to make. It's great for rinsing dishes and warming your dishwater. It comes to a boil very quickly for cooking pasta. I highly recommend this product. This is my 2nd one and don't go without 1 for long. My last one lasted for about 20 years and I immediately ordered a new 1 when it started to leak.

It's HOT!
I never thought I would be so impatient that I didn't want to wait for my microwave to heat up a cup of water for my tea. Well, I am. I turned my laundry nook into a beverage center, and when I saw these advertised, I was sold. I had it professionally installed, which I would recommend, because my plumber scratched his head a few times while getting it set up. It works wonderfully, and I am drinking more tea. It has an added bonus of being able to melt the glue on any price sticker within 5 seconds, then they peel right off.

Easy install and handsome appearance
This is the second replacement of an original item I installed over 12 years ago. A cogent rant can be written about planned obsolescence, but I also accept the fact that this device is used repeatedly every day in my kitchen for cleaning as well as beverage preparation. It gets a remarkable amount of use. The water heater itself is a straight out swap for the previous unit. Secure water, remove clips, remove vent and water lines and remove and replace on wall under kitchen sink. Five minutes from start to finish. I replaced the spigot that I'd been using for over 10 years with the slightly larger, more robust dispenser that came with this unit. Although it is a good deal larger than the dispenser head it replaced, it is also more robustly built and provides a swiveling neck. All in all, after 3 months of use, I would say that this unit has pleased me with its functionality and esthetics, and I have no concerns giving it a five star rating.

Pain to install but works well
The unit works well. It makes nice hot water that's great for tea, ramen, or french press coffee. It's simple to use and matches the rest of my kitchen fixtures well. So I'm overall pretty happy with it. Installation was pretty difficult though. The water lines for it aren't very long so finding a place to fit it in the cramped area under my kitchen sink was difficult. It also doesn't include all of the hardware necessary to install it. It's missing a tee connection to hook up the cold water supply line. The instructions given with the unit are not at all clear on what kind of tee you need so it took me two trips to the hardware store and about an hour to get the right part.

Love that instant hot water
I only drink instant coffee, and I love it! Don’t judge me! This instant hot water dispenser is great. The most difficult part of the install was drilling a hole through my granite countertop. That required a diamond tipped bit, but only took a few minutes of drilling once all my measurements were complete. Make sure you have “always on” 110 volts under your sink so that you can supply it with electricity. Many garbage disposals are plugged into receptacles with one plug switched for the disposal, and one plug unswitched that can be used for a hot water dispenser. You will need to figure out how to tap into your cold water supply, so that may require a trip to the hardware store. Love it and use it 5 times every day.

Installation is a breeze.
I bought this as a replacement for an insinkerator H-Wave after its handle broke. This model is cheaper and has a more sturdy handle. However, unlike the H-Wave which was mostly copper piping, this one is all plastic piping. I used a copper ferrule on hand (instead of a plastic one) to make the compression connection to the existing T fitting on the water line and had no leaks. I just made sure I did not overtighten and damage the hard plastic pipe. If you have a plastic ferrule, that may be the way to go. I don't think an insert is required since the plastic pipe is haed, but using one may be not be a bad idea just in case you overtighten. Replacing the old faucet with this one took me less than half an hour. Works like a charm.

Ease of use and less likely to break down due to wear in tear due to the pull down action vs twisting.

Specification didn’t mention that the voltage was not compatible with British standards. I have a plumber today to install it and he pointed out that the unit is for American voltage system. How can you sell such products in the uk without showing voltage?

I live these hot water units. We use it all the time. This is the third unit I have purchased in 20 years. Although I was disappointed in the finishes available in Canada. I actually had to use the chrome tap from another unit instead of the black one. The black is lively but I did not want to have to change all sink tsp to match.
