No graphics or touch screens - nothing pretentious or falsely sophisticated. This is a straight up well made scale that has all the important features you actually need in a laboratory to weigh your samples, boats or batches and get on with the business! Like any good scale, there is a bubble level (bullseye) inside the weigh chamber (see photo) The scale's base is designed with the classic 3 point suspension - the adjustable legs are on the rear of the scale and have fine enough threads to accurately adjust the bullseye level with ease. Probably the best part I enjoy about this scale is the accessibility. Both sides have the customary sliding doors as well at the top. Each panel has a substantial handle with which to slide it open or closed. All panels are made of glass as well. The edges of the glass are just a bit sharp but nothing that a piece of 800 grit wet/dry paper can't smooth down. Since I'll be using this machine myself, there's no need to bevel the edges of the glass. I own another similar scale that has a plastic breeze box that just lifts off - it's really just ridiculous in comparison to this scale. Calibration is pretty straight forward. The manual describes how to perform a single & a two point calibration. I just went with the single point calibration and had no trouble. While working with this scale, I would stop my regular weight objectives and place the calibration standard on the platform - 500g every time! Repeatability was seen to be linear as well. I weighed several know standards and only noticed flutter of the digits when the breeze box was open. When used properly, this scale has excellent repeatability. If you're so inclined, there's an RS-232 interface to connect for data capture. We don't use that function here but it's nice to have it available I suppose. It's a common feature on most laboratory scales I've seen around & about the industry. The control panel is very simple to operate. If you've ever used an industrial scale you'll understand all of the functions. it's very intuitive to operate - no real instruction is required. This is not an inexpensive scale but be assured, I've paid a lot more for a lot less! The quality that LACHOI has manufactured into this unit cannot be ignored. It's quite the class act. Unless you're measuring micrograms, you'll be able to do your work with this machine. As a professional, I really do give a positive endorsement for this device. Two thumbs up for precision done well!

It's a precise piece of equipment. While a little much for your standard weighing it's great if you need something more specific to weigh, like liquids. It's quite big and takes up space. Don't press too hard on the buttons to get it to work. Wish the connection was more updated to modern computers and printers. Very stable.

When you need a scale that needs to be extremely accurate in different variables, this scale does not disappoint. Some circumstances might not require the measurement to be extremely precise like coins, but if you need it for reloading purposes, if you have ever loaded your own shells, the measurements really need to be extremely accurate. The aesthetics of the scale are very nice, the build is solid. I have to agree that you will need to be careful when button pressing because of the design of the scale and where they placed the legs. I think for balancing and accuracy the three-leg option is why they went with this design specifically and scientifically, it makes sense. I read in some of the other reviews before we ordered that this seemed to make it a design flaw, but I disagree and I just feel you have to be more gentle with pushing the buttons. The price seems very reasonable as compared to some of the other reloading scales that we looked into, it's pretty comparable. Overall, I would recommend this scale just make sure you are reading the instructions and be mindful to read the reviews. I feel like it is important with a piece of equipment like this for the reviewers to state what they are actually using the scale for and we didn't get information like that when we were reading through the other reviews but in our case, we mostly have it for reloading. But make no mistake, it has a variety of uses on other items where weight needs to be very accurate, like jewelry or coins. All of the controls are very easy to use, the LCD easy to read panel and the fact that you can switch quickly through the measurements. It did come with the RS232C to connect it to your computer and that can come in very handy if you are trying to save settings or render something from your weighing measurements. It is just important that you read the instructions so that you can fully grasp how to use this scale properly. I hope you find this review helpful!

This seems like an excellent scale and is far more precise than I need. If I was measuring chemicals for experiments, weed, or jewelry, this seems like it would be a perfect scale. I don't have anything to use to compare the accuracy of this scale but it does show very precise measurements. It seems easy to use and calibrate. Overall, it seems like an excellent scale.
