great for cookie recipes
Just made my favorite oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe with these! Turned out great! My family doesn’t even realize I subbed in carob chips. They are happily gobbling them up! I’ve always had a mild allergy to chocolate but at 55 yrs old, mild has ramped up to significant. Carob is becoming my go-to substitute.

Not chocolate, but good! No caffeine!
I’m intolerant to caffeine so I’m always looking for something to substitute for chocolate that has absolutely no caffeine. I really like these carob chips! I recently made some trail mix for a road trip and threw in a package of these carob chips with mixed nuts and some pumpkin seeds and they are just the right sweetness to make it perfect! Can’t wait to make some carob chip cookies with them!

Next best thing to chocolate
Good substitute for chocolate. I can’t have chocolate so this does the trick when I’m craving it. I haven’t cooked with them yet but have sprinkled in yogurt and eaten out the bag.

Unusable??
I ordered 3 bags. They all came with huge clumps. Some I can’t break apart. As in photo. Ones broken apart look stale and these can’t be returned!! How can this be addressed? Very disappointed

Good flavor
These chips have good flavor that doesn't overpower other ingredients in trail mixes. Eating them on their own they are a bit too sweet but in a mix they provide just the right zing. I do not use them for baking.

I got these to bake for my dog treats since dogs can eat carob. Made some delicious biscuits that he loved !

This brand of carob chips makes delicious cookies for those of us who can’t eat chocolate. I highly recommend.

The order arrived when scheduled. I really like these Carob chips, they melt well (I use them as sauce for my Ice cream). They are not sugar freebut taste great.
