I used this on a very hard trip in the rainforest and had some issues with the cap opening whist in my bag. I informed bachgold and they have been amazing in trying to solve the problem. That adventure was a rough and treacherous mission and after having used the container more recently I have had no such issues. I love the functionallity and design of the bottle and its easy to use. Just make sure that you push evenly on both sides and dont rush as you plunge the filter down. Water tastes great and its excellent value for money considering how robust it feels. The included carabina is an excllent thought Most impressive was the companys respose to my feedback. Its a breath of fresh air (or sip of fresh water) to deal with such an innovative and receptive team, I will be following their future ventures for sure.

EDIT, Now works even better, I knocked up a press tool to help press down the lid while keeping the outlet open to release the air, it's so much easier to use now. Just search for Bachgold on makerworld if you'd like to print yourself one :o). I’ve used this filter on a couple of overnight hikes and it worked brilliantly—lightweight and easy to use. On a recent longer hike, I did run into a problem where I couldn’t get it to press down properly, which was frustrating at the time. But huge credit to the company—they reached out to me directly and really listened to my concerns. I've recieved a replacement filter and things are running smoothly again. It’s rare to get that kind of support these days! I feel much more confident in the product now and I’m happy to keep using it. Great customer service makes all the difference.

Well made easy to use water purifier.

It works well enough for barely polluted water sources, not suitable for agricultural pollution AFAIK but perfect for upland streams and springs where biological nasties might be present but agricultural run off chemicals probably not present. I use a macro filter to get maximum lifespan from the filter which uses the same micro hollowfibre technology as other more famous brands, but you can have over half a litre of water in seconds. Sort of wish I hadn't gone for the black bottle as it's opaque enough to be tricky getting the right amount of water as the marker is on the outside.

Excellent. Worked well on a recent hiking and camping trip for about 5 litres of drinking water.

Really strong and robust bottle. It is quite wide though so I use it to fill my smaller bottle and then store inside my rucksack.

I bought this for my holiday abroad. It’s so good I use it for my water at home. I’ve now bought an extra filter for my holiday use. Easy to use and well worth the money.

Bought for Duke of Edinburgh and would recommend , filters as described, light weight and saved carrying litres of water

Testato già da 3 mesi di cui ho fatto 10 giorni (alta via dolomiti 1) e un altro de 7 giorni (alpi lombarde) e va alla grande. Mai preso malattie o disturbi. Ovviamente sempre facendo attenzione sul origine delle fonte di Aqua.. sul materiale devo dire che sempre usandola "sopra lo zaino (non perde acqua, solo il po' rimanente dal beccuccio)" quindi non esposta a strappi con sassi lo stesso si e graffiata un po'. Comunque me la tengo per che e buona peccato anche per il littraggi di 0.5

Für jeden, der sich draußen auf sein Equipment verlassen muss, eine klare Empfehlung. Als ich zurück zu Hause war, hatte ich eine kleine Reklamation. Ich habe mich an den Verkäufer gewandt – und was dann kam, war echte Kundenorientierung: freundlich, lösungsorientiert, schnell. Selten so einen netten und kompetenten Service erlebt! Fazit: Der Filter ist top – und der Service dahinter noch besser. Wer draußen unterwegs ist und Wert auf sauberes Wasser UND verlässliche Hersteller legt, kommt an diesem Produkt nicht vorbei. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
