Very easy to use,very good quality

I purchased 2 of these leads for my 2 spaniels who, are lots of heal training by myself and with a dog trainer, kept pulling on the lead when out for a walk. Weaknesses: At first it seemed a very complicated lead to use. Even by looking at the pictures on the advert and searching Google on how to apply these leads, I couldn't figure out how to get one loop around the dogs nose and the other around their neck with the rest of the lead coming directly out from behind their head. Then I realised that the soft nose cover was on the wrong side of the double metal ring. By moving the nose cover through one side of the double ring, I wad able to create the figure of 8 with the rest of the lead in the correct position. I had yo do this with both leads. Also, getting the leads set up on 2 dogs at once is a bit of a challenge, as by the time you have done the 2nd dog, the 1st has managed yo knock the nose loop off with their paw. So gettting the tension right (but not too tight) is key. I wanted this lead to help encourage my dogs not to pull and to walk to heal, so for me the lead length is a bit too long. Also, given that when fitted correctly it does stop the dog from pulling, I'm not sure the thickly padded handles are really needed, as I can hold the lead with just my fingers due to the reduced tension. I'll keep them on for a while, but may end up removing them as they are a bit bulky. Strengths: The leads look and feel well made and the hard plastic covers on the loop points should prevent fraying at this week point. Crucially, they do stop the dog from pulling, although they will need to get used to having the loop in their nose but I understand this comes with time and practice. 4 stars due to having to correct the set up to fit the lead.

Does the job and protects my boys snout

Bought this for our one year old cockapoo, Ted. He is terrible at pulling on a lead and so we bought this after our friend recommended it to us following the success that they have had with their dog. Sadly it really distressed our dog and within seconds he had managed to claw the tie from the top of his nose. I didn't find it very easy to use, it's quite fiddly and made worse if your dog is nit comfortable with these kinds of leads. That being said, the quality of this lead was really good and I thought it was good value for money, the fit for the size that I purchased was a good fit however, it didn't stop my dog from pulling as he was just too distressed. I have seen other dogs use these types of leeds though and they seem to work brilliantly with zero stress. I think it is a case of trial and error to find out what works well for your dog.

The worst Dog lead I have ever had, far to stiff my dog could easily slip it and did multiple times. Only used for a few days binned it and bought another for her safety. Now have the softer kinder cotton type easier to put on more comfortable for the dog safer. She is happier and so am I don't waste your money.

I had to think a little, when we first got this lead, when holding it up, it made the letter B, then I knew I was putting in on the right way around. Our labrador was not too bad at pulling on her lead, but this product sorted it out altogether. My sister in law recommended this sleep lead after her son bought one for his Akita (Japanese Fight Dog) which is gorgeous and HUGE. It worked a treat on the Akita too, she no longer pulls whilst on walks.

The media could not be loaded.  The product fits well and was as described other than the missing nose cushioning part. Lead feels durable. I'm going to give it a go without but if it seems uncomfortable after 1 walk I will return.
