Batteries fall out easily.
I slammed the door and batteries fell out. Then I wasn’t able to lock it. I returned it. I don’t think a safe the batteries fall out or appropriate

Nice size
I wanted a smaller cabinet/closet size. As described. I used the screws to studs, build tight to wall w metal L shape strip screwed to wall, shelf and along side of safe. Nice & tight fit. Highly Recommend

Do you own a crowbar?
If I had a lot of money I would not keep it in this safe. Batteries fell out first time the door was closed an locked and I finally super glued them in. Then they went dead and the keys for the manual lock wouldn't fit. I never learned safe cracking skills so I took the crowbar road. The safe is now keeping my utility room door propped open.

This safe is compact but spacious enough for cash, jewelry, important documents, etc. Can be mounted to floor or wall if desired. The portable size is perfect for a closet, attic, etc. It's tough and durable and very worth the price.

I’ve been looking around for different types of safes. This safe is well built. There’s a decent amount of space on the inside. Really happy with this one. Fireproof is definitely a plus.
