Used it to jump start my dad's very dead battery on a 2001 Dodge Caravan. Didn't think it would be enough, but the power bank still had over 70% remaining when we were done. Great deal and a must-have in your emergency arsenal.

I drive a hybrid car and am always afraid to jump start from it. I have used this for cars and large trucks. It has never disappointed me. When I find people in distress they are always amazed at how this small charger works. Some offer to buy it from me but I won’t part with it.

This is my 2nd one. Unfortunately my last one no longer charges. I have used it on my tractors, ATV, UTV, lawn tractor and my car and pick ups. Easy to use and charge.

So helpful , worked after being stored for two years in the truck

When I first received it, the weight, or really, lack of substantive weight of this product casted doubt in my mind. How can something this light jump a car battery? But surely hundred of positive reviews can’t wrong? Anyhow, long story short, I had bought this for my EV, which notoriously has a weak 12V battery. Sure enough, on a cold winter night and 40 minute from home, my car refused to start and showed a message indicating 12V battery is low. I thought I was well prepared with this jump starter in the frunk, but it did not perform. I connected the +/- terminals, and a red light indicated my connection was “Correct”. I tried to start my car, and nothing happened. Pressed the boost button on the jumper cable, a little green light came on to give me false hope. Tried to start the car again, still nothing happened. Meanwhile, the battery % display quickly drained from 98% to 80s then to 70s and then the jump starter completely shut off and refused to turn back on. At this point, I was too cold to care and called a tow truck, thinking maybe my battery was too dead to be jumped and a visit to the mechanics was in order. The tow driver was nice enough to offer me a jump first with his truck, and what do you know, my car started right up without any issues. Just to make sure I didn’t screw up and fry the jump starter somehow, after I got home, I plugged a USBC cable into the jump starter and it still works and is now charging again. If you want an expensive but weak flashlight that can also be used as a portable charger, this is your thing. But if you want to jump your car battery, be prepared to be disappointed.

I purchased this as an option due the recent issues with my car battery. I finally had to use it the other day for the first time. It was easy to use once I read the step by step instructions while setting it up. I liked the small size of the unit, the cable length was adequate. When I first recieved the Asperex Car Jump Starter, it was advised to fully charge before using. It was at least 2 weeks before I used it and I was surprised that the unit was still charged. I love how portable it is and how everything neatly fits in the carrying case.
