for the price they will weld cast OK, But it depends on the individual cast iron /
weld cast ok,, With the thin victorian cast iron I am restoring not easy and difficult slag inclusiopns ect,but at the exact temperature and disstance from rod tip to cast iron possiblely not bad weld, all cast work varies grately?

These rods arrived very quickly but not in a case as demonstrated, however they're still a very good product and got the job done welding my cast iron garden seat. Good value for money too so I definitely recommend them.
