Install was mostly a direct fit, had to modify the heat shield on the front bank slightly to fit the oxygen sensor, but other than that it bolted up perfectly. Quality of construction looks great, fixed my P0430 code immediately. The warranty the company offers is identical to Magnaflow's at 1/10th of the price. I'll update the review at the six month point to let anyone curious know how they're holding up. So far, I'm definitely glad I made the gamble & gave these a shot, immediately improved my economy, exhaust sound, & performance. Restored my struggling car back to new life.

Worked perfectly for my 2018 KIA Soul 1.6 Engine. I also replaced the PCV valve.. I recommend you watch the YouTube video on how to remove it, trusts me it's a really tight fit and you need to follow the steps in order. After I installed it I also replaced both sensors. I drove it to Tampa 50 miles up and another back to break it in and get the sensors to synch. It smoked a bit but thats normal, and it stuttered while the sensor adjusted,..then it ran with more power, I was getting about 22 MPG before, after replacing the CAT it's getting 29.7 MPG. Great product!!! KIA wanted to charge me $2,300!! Hell no!! Did it myself with a friends help!!!

The product build quality is great on this thing, but it literally has just enough of the precious metals to get it to pass emissions, but then within 2 months it stopped working and the 0420 code came back on. Everything else on the engine is working fine, with long-term and short-term fuel trimmed within one or 2%. So there's no reason for this to get fouled so quickly. I'm glad I kept the old catalytic converter and literally soaked it overnight in soapy dishwater, and then reinstalled that.

This product came with the welds looking decent and all the holes placed correctly and all that. It was a direct replacement for the stock converter on my 2014 Kia Soul 1.6l.AND, it DID fix the check engine light for low catalyst efficiency.But some of the reviews before me seem to indicate this part may only last a few months. I figure If I get 2 years out of it it's a 5-star item, but those reviews have me a little worried....

My 1.6l 2016 Kia Soul while driving wouldn't go past 25 mph even if you floored it. After searching the web for similar issues I concluded that a clogged catalytic might be the issue. Being a DIY myself I figured I give it a shot. Found a step by step video online on how to replace and got to work. Item is identical to the stock. Just make sure to take the heat shield the stock one has and transfer it over to this one. It came with all the parts needed. My car did have a metal gasket that connected the flexible exhaust to the car exhaust so I just re-used it. I did replace my bottom o2 sensor since the reviews stated this one goes bad first (Also bought on amazon). Car drove perfect after this. I recommend 100%. The local auto part stores want $600-800 and this amazon vendor has this quality part for a fraction of the price.

After 1+ month of been installed, I can say I'm satisfied with the quality and the result of installation.

Really disappointed, mad & frustrated. As I bought this and it only lasted 3 months. Everything seemed fine & well & good quality till it wasn't. I don't know what happened or why, but it's unfortunate & not ok.

So far so good with this one. The quality of the construction was great, so visible issues with the welds and the bends were smooth. Definitely met the description of the product. Installation was hassle free (don't get me started on removing the old one....). It's been a month and there has been zero issues.

Perfect fit in terms of the flange end and pipe bends. I did have to Mig weld the pipe at the resonator end. My 2009 Matrix had a secondary resonator that required a little trimming with a disc grinder to have the new pipe fit in its opening.Tack the pipe with as Mig/Tig and then drop the pipe from the rubber hangers enough to complete the 360 degree weld to seal off the connection. Lift the pipe back up and bolt it to the header pipe. I found the supplied bolts were smaller diameter than the original, they passed through the old nuts that are welded to the connector. No issues at all, and at least $1K less expensive than a muffler shop.You may have to use a torch to heat the old catalytic converter near the sensor to get unscrewed without breaking it. It’s a pricy replacement take your time with the sensor. A little anti-seize on the threads will make sensor remove easier in the future, if you keep the car that long :)

Mount is welded in the wrong place and O2 sensor port is not aligned, versus original, so install was very challenging. I wouldn’t recommend that an amateur or someone without enough tools to customize try to install this. Makes we worry about the quality inside. Outside quality seems OK. Time will tell. If inside quality is good and last lasts, then the low price makes up for the install challenges resulting from the previously described issues.
