Mercer Mayer's Little Critter is so relatable for kids. He has all the same emotions as a child. Illustrations are funny and correspond with text. The text is in simple to understand words and the story flows from page to page. Little Critter's antics in this book are a fun yet gentle way to introduce bed time. This classic book was our favorite part of the bed time ritual. Brand new, giftable book that is sure to delight any child that doesn't always want to go to bed.

This one is a classic children's book. Like the Christmas Story movie, it is one of those things in life that is very nostalgic. My parents would read this to me when I was a small child. Now I am doing the same to my own children. The theme is timeless even in todays heavy technology era with TV, phones, tablets, and gadgets. Trying to get your little child to go to bed is always a challenge. A night does not go by when my daughter tests every limit of my patience to put her to bed. I read this story to her often before bedtime and she always smiles and laughs. I can now relate to the dad who does his best to get his little trooper to take a bath, pickup, get in pajamas, brush teeth and go to sleep. I am a big fan of Mercer Mayer's stories and this is probably his best. This is a beautifully simple story that is great for young children. I would highly recommend this story to all new parents. It makes a great gift for any occasion. I would rate this a 5 star book.

This is my grandson's favorite bedtime story. So much so that this is a replacement for our original that he wore out. In all fairness, it was his mom's when she was little.I love the Little Critter stories. So cute, and humor that parents and children appreciate. These books withstand the test of time. Every time we would read the book, he would flip to the back cover and point out other Little Critter books he wanted. We now have those too!

My kids love this book! It’s very relatable as toddler LOVE to push off their bed time finding excuses to try and stay up. My kids laugh throughout the reading watching the father get more and more worked up as little critter keeps distracting himself with everything but bedtime. I think it’s a great book for parents attempting to teach their young kids empathy and talk about how the characters feel. This book gives children the opportunity to look at bed time routines from an outsiders perspective and watch why an adult is getting frustrated with their child.-Boreland Book Reviews

It was a cute book but not what I expected.

Little Critter books are my favorite children books and I love this one in particular. Have read it to my children and then grandchildren hundreds of times. One of my favorite books to buy as a present.

ペーパーバック購入しました。薄いですが、表紙は光沢紙になっていて可愛らしいサイズです。内容も簡単な英語の文ですし、2歳児の寝る前に読んであげるにはちょうど良いページ数かと。ガッツリ読みたい方には物足りないかもしれません笑
