First thing I wanted to say it's a very beautiful piece of wood. Mine had something that looked like a split directly in the center, but not completely across the board. You can't feel it, it's hard to tell if it's a natural thing or if it was glued back in, I kept it because I liked it. For the most part, it looks really nice. It big luxurious nice handles and the blood grooves are good. The split itself doesn't seem natural but again it's hard to tell and that's only because it goes straight down. 3/4 of the block passed the blood groove and around towards the handle. It had no intentions, works well. I've had it for about a week or maybe a couple days. Use it all the time. Don't see any problem with. It seems sturdy so far. I would've loved to give it a five star if it didn't have that groove that looks like a cut directly in the middle, but it's not super noticeable unless you're looking for it. The thickness is very well and it's constructed nicely again. It seems to be a luck of the draw when it comes to a split because I've heard a few people saying similar but other than that, I just decided to keep it. Most people are not looking at things with a fine tooth comb when they're visiting the house.

Nice size, very pretty for leaving on my center island. Oiled mine with food grade oil. Does not have any stabilizers on the bottom, added my own. It's light weight and easy to wipe up.

This is a great looking, functional, cutting board...with 2 short comings. The biggest one is the lack of a liquid collection area in one corner ( which I remedied by making one with my router), and the second one is the drip groove cut around the parameter is too narrow, ( which again I remedied with my router. ) and is hard to get clean. This cutting board is wonderful for cutting any big piece of of meat or foul. And it's a great conversation piece when it's sitting on the counter, because of it's large size and beautiful wood !

I don’t know what else to say other than these are absolutely awesome! These are the nicest quality cutting boards that I have seen in a while. That only are they thick and constructed really well but they wash up nice and easy when you need to clean it. I purchased two of them And definitely do not regret purchasing two. I never wanna be left without one in case something happens to the first one. I have purchased these several times for family members, and everyone agrees that they are high-quality and beautiful to see. I would highly recommend these to anyone who has a kitchen and loves to cook.

After 14 years, it was time to replace the cutting board we received as a wedding present. This one looked nice, and is really large which is great. Unfortunately, it began to warp about a week after we got it. It was on a side.counter, never used it, and it was kept dry and out of the way. From corner to corner it has warped about 1/2 an inch, which really is awful as it wobbles when you try to use it. I live in Colorado where it is very dry, perhaps coming from Chine it isn't acclimated to our dry air, but it was getting worse, not better. Consider a different wood if you live in a dry climate.

Very solid board. I bought this to add to the end of my countertop with two folding arms. I can lower and raise this shelf now as needed. My wife loves this idea. The board is very thick for this purpose. It matches well with my countertop. The price is great for this quality board. Shipping was quick.
