Prints like wood, smooth as PLA
I bought the OVV3D Wood 3D Printer Filament Bundle because I wanted to try printing some custom "wood carved" objects on my 3D printer—and I’m really impressed. The filament ran cleanly through my Prusa Mini with no clogs or stringing, which is always a concern with composite filaments. Each roll had a unique wood tone that added great variety to my prints without needing post-processing.The real magic is in the finish—printed parts come out with a subtle matte texture and wood-like appearance that looks great straight off the bed. I used it for a few decorative models and even a plant pot sleeve, and every piece has that organic feel I was going for. It doesn’t have that burnt smell some wood filaments give off either, which was a pleasant surprise.

Great product
Honestly I love the look, smell and feel of this product. It prints well but It took a few tries to really dile in it's favorite temp and speed. It does like to warp on the bed but after adjusting bed temps I just went with a raft and it's fine now.

3 out of 4 colors work
The purple and green is not usable! I tried it in my Prusa Mini and Prusa MK3. The same file print fine using the other colors (had to turn nozzle temp up to 220) but it would not print in that one color. My mini printer actually jammed on it and i had to disassemble it to clean it out. No clue why that one color is such a pain. I probably used 150 of the 250 g just trying to get it to work only for the edges to curl or it to come out super stringy!

Inconsistent color / Stuck in Feeder
The color changed mid-reel. Was my reel mixed from 2 different batches? Not acceptable!Edit: So a Few days later, I'm trying another color, still sealed. In AZ anyway, so, no humidity issues. So, while all went well for the first half of a 10 hour print job, I check on it halfway and I see the print head moving half an inch above the first half of the model (in mid-air) with nothing being extruded. What went wrong? The filament got stuck in the feeder! It is rigid enough that it does not pass through the tubing, feeder easily.

If you are using an AMS, or a BAMBU printer, please read.
I ran a spool of this stuff through a Bambulab P1s, and had zero problems. I do however encourage anyone and everyone who is running filament with additives such as wood, metal, carbon fiber or nylon to invest in a new printer nozzle that is made of Tungsten or Hardened steel. This will prevent printing issues and spalling.I did get several good prints made with this and loved the look, even though it did not have the outward appearance of wood, it can however be stained. The quality is good, it also seems to adhere to the bed without issues. Just make sure you clean your printing surfaces before use

Does it's job, needs fine tuning
Let me first say this is the first filament I've ever bought that has wood in it. I definitely was new to this and this filament was my intro to the world of infused filaments. Now, I've had both really good and really bad things to say so let's start off with pros.Pros: Has a great finish when it prints (super smooth and layer lines are almost invisible. Seems like that's the wood fibers filling in the rough print edges) as well as the feel and smell. When printing my room smells like a lumber mill and the print itself feels like a peice of wood that was rough sanded. Really authentic stuff.Cons: This filament is VERY brittle, even when dry, so be gentle when loading it and make sure your printer settings accommodate for a softer filament. On top of this, the filament is also very susceptible to heat creep. In a 4 hr print, I had to remove my bowden tube off of my ender 3 and load in a new section of filament probably 10 times. I've found that a lower temp allows the filament to soften but still maintain rigidity up until the nozzle so keeping it at 190C helps alot with preventing heat creep. Also the clogging is a menace! Lower your speeds of printing and it should be fine which will allow the fibers to travel with the filament rather than get clogged in the nozzle (this filament makes a lot of clogs if you dont know what youre doing). What I found is if you follow the manufacturers settings and use the lower threshold, the greater success you'll have with this filament. Also your prints will be VERY soft so do not print this for strength, only for show.Overall it's not horrible. Would I buy again? Probably not given the troubles this filament gave me with the brittleness amongst other things and also the value for the money isn't great given that you can buy a 1kg roll of some other brand for some more but who knows, maybe as I continue to use it, ill change my mind. This filament definitely isn't for beginners starting 3D printing though.
