Good quality pudding bowl - will use to steam my Christmas puddings

Ideal for a Christmas pudding to feed four people .Much better value than Mason Cash brand and it has the features such as a ridge ( rim ) which makes tying string round it easier before you steam . It has grooves on the bottom too but best to use a trivet underneath as well as it could’ve rattled about a lot in boiling water .Good for mixing bits and pieces too . So a good all rounder . I bought two Kitchen Craft is a good brand .

Great for pudding making, husband can now enjoy all his favourite savoury or sweet puds! Lovely size bowl for 2 generous servings, ideal for up to 4 good servings of jam sponge. Lovely quality and being ceramic no nasty leaching etc from metal/aluminium bowls. Perfect for steaming in a pan or used in oven. Super quick delivery too.

I think this would have been a reasonably priced bowl - it's a good size and depth, with a lip for tying over the top. However, I have to give it one star because it arrived chipped near the rim (although I only noticed after taking the label off). There wasn't much in the way of packaging, so I assume it was damaged in transit - check carefully if you buy.
