Columbia Men's Silver Ridge Convertible Pants

I'm a very long, thin 17 year old boy. I bought these because I thought that unzipping my pants in the middle of class and having everyone turn around to behold my transformation into shorts would be hilarious and it totally was! Anyway, these are some pretty decent pants/shorts. It's still a little chilly outside but when summer finally rolls around you wont catch me outside without these pants on. They are a little big on me but very comfortable.

Decent pants. They don't stretch much so not great for scrambling. Pants are more burnt orange than expected.

Stitching unraveled from the back pockets

They run a little small compared to other Columbia convertibles I have. Same waist and inseam but they are a little tighter where is counts. They are still basically good, thin, cooling hiking pants which should go a distance before they wear out, just going over rough terrain isn't as easy in these as they are a little more restrictive than older models.

These pants worked out well on my trip to Machu Picchu Peru! They are Light weight, so they took up less space in my backpack. When it got warm in the afternoon, I could zip off the pant legs! I could recommend these to anyone.

It's not water proof paints. It's just a wind breaker

Good quality if a slightly more baggy fit than we are used to.
