FEL-PRO VS 50660 R Engine Valve Cover Gasket Set for Lexus IS300

They’re valve cover gaskets, they fit my 2003 Lexus IS300 perfectly with no leaks so far, and for some reason, there’s a third unused gasket and I have no idea what it’s for. 5/5 stars for shipping time and price.

Worked great on 1999 Lexus GS300 2JZGE engine. Comes with three gaskets but only use the two same length ones. Also only install one way to lay them out first to match valve covers and absolutely make sure you torque them to 74in/lbs and run a bead of rtv around and for sure in the four corners.

These didn't fit the groove in the cam covers perfectly - requiring me to "glue" them in place prior to assembly. Just a couple dabs of the black Toyota FIPG (that's just quality RTV to you non-toyota folks) in the groove, install gasket, place face-down on the workbench for a few hours so the gasket would stay in place while finagling the cam covers into place.

Old gaskets on my lexus is300 were causing oil to drip onto the exhaust headers and spark plug canal. VERY BAD! With these gaskets NO MORE LEAKING OIL!! TIP>>> If you smell oil burning in cabin of car may very well be the case above stated.>>Although the job seems very overwhelming it isn't that hard. I Highly recommend replacing Spark plugs (Since you are already there) Only DENSO SK16R-P11 Iridium Spark Plug. Since already In the engine I replaced Spark plugs, Spark plug wires, coil packs, Fuel injectors, gaskets (exhaust and intake side) cleaned spark plug canal, cleaned butterfly throttle body.

They are an exact fit for 2JZ engine.

Easy to install good product

Fantastic gasket. It's the rubber kind. It fits well, and installation was easy. Putting everything back though, was a pain.

nice quality feeling and its blue, i did my valve cover blue color and they match perfectly.

The gaskets I received were excessively stretched out.
