I used the manual Varidesk at work for years and recently decided to purchase the electric version for my home office. I am soo pleased with this product! It raises and lowers smoothly and quietly. The spacing allows me to set a laptop and a portable screen (SideTrak-another great Amazon purchase!) on one shelf and a wireless keyboard and mouse on the lower shelf. It can hold an arm for a larger monitor, but I didn’t need that. Installation was a breeze. You just need a Phillips screwdriver. It get 5 stars for me. I wish there was space for a notepad b/c online meetings require that, but being able to stand and move when working for 7+ hours is a great benefit to me. I also bought the Topo Comfort mat, which provides cushioning for my feet. The only thing I had to do was to push my desk back to create more space b/c the Varidesk does move forward abt 6 in and buy a desk mat to prevent scratches. My desk chair has to be moved to the side because of the configuration of my work space. I am very pleased and wish I had made this purchase years ago!

It is great for a 24" wide desk. It's not overly bulky. Like the adjustable riser with a simple push button. Fairly simple to install with a few screws.

I Absolutely LOVE my desk! I work with this same Varidesk in the office. Best investment if you’re working from home. I was able to put it together myself within 15 minutes.

I’m giving this 4 stars, only because, when I purchased it, I didn’t look it over thoroughly before using. One of the knobs wouldn’t work and therefore not tightening. It took away some of the sturdiness. But I have gotten a lot of use out of it for many years now and it holds up.

Was late one week

Easy to put together. Works great for standard use. CAUTION! They totally mislead you because every picture shows the monitor stand which I needed, and it doesn't note that it is sold separately. I have looked on Amazon and cannot find the monitor stand from VARI that works with this standing desk. The ones I do see are over $100 so now it is an extra expense that I have to put out.

Easy to put together, does scratch fairly easily. Also does not come with the monitor pole shown in the images. Comfortably fits 2 monitors, but it a little shakey when raised.

Customers need to be able to get a exchange instead of refund.
