Works Very Well
Fits very well in hand and easy to hold. Performs its function very well. Builds lather quickly. Light weight but very sturdy. Also looks good. Rinses off very well. I didn’t like the price much, but on the bright side, this cup / shaving bowl is made of plastic so it should last a long time and not break if it falls. Seems like this shaving bowl may be a little large for traveling, but great for use at home.

Great all around lathering bowl
Ridges on the bottom make quick work of shave soap and wips up a lather quite quickly. The bowl seems very well made and durable. Doesn’t feel like it will break/crack if I accidentally drop it. What I like most about this bowl is the size profile. Great for everyday use and even on the go. Would make a good travel bowl. And I don’t know if this was intentional but the material dries very quickly. I’d recommend this to any wet shaver

Ugly but Extremely Functional
I am annoyed at how much I like this bowl. The grey color is the only one that didn't offend me and it's still ugly to look at. The ridges on the outside look terrible but they serve a functional purpose in that the bowl sits in your hand and does not move at any point while building a lather. The ribbed basin design is good and lets you really whip up a good lather using just a small chunk of shaving soap. It's plastic, which isn't glamorous at all, but I'm no longer worrying about hitting or rubbing my brush's handle against a bowl. This TIMELESS RAZOR bowl is cost-effective and it excels where other shaving bowls fall short. The Ridges make a difference. Try it.

No BS, Pure Function
It’s not fancy nor is it terribly pretty. Higher end bowls with the grooves and notches to make Uber lather are great. But this basically does the same thing at a fraction of the cost. I’m still somewhat new to wet shaving. I love my Parker Apothecary. But between the smooth inside and incessant clanging while making lather…I needed something more effective. I also didn’t feel like shelling out a lot of money for a better ceramic. Maybe someday, but right now I’m fine. So in comes this thing. With good technique the design results in mountains of lather very quickly. What more could I want? No it doesn’t hold heat as well and it’s a little big for travel. But if you’re just starting out in wet shaving, make this your first lather bowl. It works great, won’t break the bank, and won’t break literally if you drop it. If you’re like me and it becomes a hobby you enjoy, that’s great. THEN you should start thinking about upgrading to higher quality gear.

Having tried several wet shave bowls suitable to travel with, this one is the one.
At home I use a stone bowl that I love but it weighs a few pounds, so not great for the travel bag.My first attempt was the collapsible type. Guess what that did on about the 5th of 6th use; it collapsed into several pieces. Another was the collapsible dog bowl type, too flimsy when working the brush. 3rd, an "insulated wall" light aluminum thing that advertised "holding heat well". No, it did not.Yes, this one is kinda big. I just traveled for 2 weeks with this one, if you stuff socks or something into it that's a non issue. The ridges at the bottom aid nicely for working up the lather and the material is made of holds the heat, acceptably ok. It's really pretty good, I'm just biased because my stone bowl is amazing for that. (There's another review of that out there someplace). For the traveling wet shavers out there, this is well recommended by one of your peeps.

Lathers well but needs a handle
The swirls at the bottom provide for a quick lather but, based on how you envision holding your lather bowl, you may want to opt for a bowl that has a handle (which this one lacks). It is a light bowl that won’t break if you drop it.

Shatter-Proof - Perfect for the Shower
I had a ceramic shaving bowl that worked well but I was always nervous about keeping it in the shower where it could fall and break.I bought this one, not expecting it to work too well but at least if it fell, it wouldn't break. And it has completely exceeded my expectations. The ridges in the bottom help build up a great lather and the bowl is really deep, making it easy to hold and use. Definitely a great value.

Travel Shaving bowl
I like wet shaving and enjoy the ritual. Getting a good soup lather is important, and this bowl does an excellent job. I like that the bowl is thick and well made of durable plastic. I like that the grooves help whip up the soap into a thick lather. I use a tube of shaving cream soap from Prorazo, with a badger brush from Razor Emporium. It is easy to use and travels well with my grooming products.
