Bought this after a scaphoid break following a cycling accident. I previously tried a different one that was not medically approved - that one was comfier but this one is definitely more supportive and so probably less painful overall. I have a 19cm wrist so went for the larger option. It fits well but I can't seem to tighten it round my thumb very tightly? But the other one I bought has the same issue so maybe it's by design.

I’ve had a few different thumb splints over the years, and they’re often low quality, and uncomfortable. This one is not that. It’s very sturdy, and holds my thumb very still, but it is always comfortable. It seems pretty breathable too, as it smells fresh after a lot of use. My thumb is feeling much better after a couple of weeks of use.

I have tendonitis; this brace is comfortable, provides good support and my condition has improved enormously. At the same time the brace provides flexibility so that I can still use my fingers and thumb without being too restrictive. Worth the money.

This is the best support I have found for thumb tendon issues. Comfortable enough to wear all day.

I put this on and had instant pain relief. Its rigid and lifted my thumb away from my hand in a way soft dressings cannot. I thought I had skiers thumb, but it turned out I have a broken trapezoid in my wrist which needs surgery. I'll buy a fresh one of these for post-surgery support and protection.

I'd bought a similar one for my husband's arthritic hand a while back but it didn't give as much support as I'd hoped. So I did my research and found this one to be more like it, with support from below and above the thumb area. I believe this is so you can use it on either hand - which you couldn't with the previous one. The double support keeps the thumb and the base area immobile and gives the thumb a chance to rest up. Really good product, very comfortable, nice colours and a reasonable price. What more could you ask?

Not any good for trigger thumb as only goes up to just before joint and I found my thumb still triggered - it is well made but perhaps suitable for other thumb conditions - just don’t buy this if you have trigger thumb - purchase one that covers entire thumb - I did have to return it unfortunately as it was expensive to not help at all for trigger thumb

This has helped me very much. All summer I have very little problem, but as soon as winter comes my thumb joints are agony. This support immobilises it to save you suffering the pain. Unfortunately you have to take them off for cooking and dish washing, but as soon as it's back on there is instant relief.
