These lamp bottle adapters were OK but the extra adapters were plastic and not cork as advertised. The adapters did not fit the bottle, so I had to cut 1/3 off of the plastic fins on the main adapter as they were too stiff to make it fit the bottle. The plug top also has a 13 Amp fuse, were a 3 amp fuse would be more appropriate for a lamp up to 60 watts. Other than that they seem to work OK.

I bought this kit to make a lamp from a narrow necked gin bottle. I was nervous buying this as it seemed narrower than standard bottles. The lamp kit has compressible vanes that adapt to any size as you press the holder into the bottle neck and it’s perfect for my needs. Add a nice lampshade and I have a unique lamp. It’s a pack of two so I’ll do the same again when I get my nexg nice bottle to work with.

This is a great item and I read the negative reviews first, but glad I risked it. Tip. Choose the size you’re going to use and put it in hot water to soften it slightly. THis makes it easier to fit into the bottle neck. Also, don’t burn yourself (more common sense)
