Strathmore 460-59 Visual Journal Watercolor 9 x 12-inch, 22 Sheets, White, 9"X12"

Not bought as a visual journal (this cover is easily removed). I got it as a watercolor sketchbook. Good quality heavyweight paper excellent for more finished sketchbook work.

Looks perfect for what I need! Not tested watercolours yet but feels just like my other papers. The cover was thicker than I thought and the top one comes off to show a more neutral cover... so it doesn’t say ‘visual journal’ all the time.

I bought this Visual Journal because of glowing reviews, and I have not been disappointed. I do wish Strathmore would make a 200lb Journal, especially for watercolor! This would reduce some of the buckling when applying watercolor washes.

Liked the fact you can flip this over makes drawing easier. I haven’t yet put any pen or washes on it.

Good quality, as you would expect from Strathmore. Shame they don't do the smaller size in the weight.

Arrived promptly. The pages are watercolour paper which makes it ideal for art journaling.

Perfect for watercolor exercices, , studies. Spiral is sturdy, paper good weight. Low cost for this kind of journal and very fast shipping! I choose this for a special watercolor class program called ''81 watercolor gestures''.

used water color on it and it was lovely, I even customized the cover. Filled up every page and enjoyed it every step of the way. works really well with water colors and it's a good size

La calidad de la hoja permite mojarlo bastante y los pigmentos se fijan bien. Me encantó.

Without doubt the best book I have used. Strathmore is a superior product.
