We have used this for years. Works really well for dry eye and morning dry eye. Easiest way to apply is to put some on a q-tip, pull your eye lid down and place it in your lower eyelid. After blinking it will coat the eye. You can use the other end of the q-tip for the other eye. We have done this for years without issue and easy way not to waste eye gel.

This is an ointment that you use on your eyes for sleeping. You just put a small amount in it tells you how much that night for dry eye disease or just people that have dry eyes. This ointment is not a gel. It is not a drop it is an ointment which covers the eye and keeps it covered all night. I have tried many, and this is the best I can find for dry eye conditions, such as mine because gels, drops, whatever else they don’t work as well as the ointment in sustain nighttime ointment for dry eyes.

Good to use before sleep for severe dry eyes.

So I wear contacts daily and during the winter we have to use the heater almost non stop, and the air gets really dry. On occasion I'll get a spec of dirt in my eye either outside in wind or when rubbing my eyes (allergies) and boy it will HURT! SRATCHED EYEBALL!! But let me tell you, this has white petroleum in it and it just KNOCKS our the pain! Just generously goop up your eye inside the waterline and blink a minute. You'll be blind like fuzzy shapes, but So much better! Just go right to sleep and it's almost all better by morning!FIVE Stars all the way! I got the three pack because they're tiny and I want one in my purse as well as bathroom.

Excellent product. It’s easier to apply than the other leading brand because it holds its form better and I can get it inside my eyelid where it belongs. Other brands I’ve tried are looser and end up on my eyelid instead of in my eye. I have to use nighttime gel because one of my eyelids doesn’t close all the way. My eye exams prove its efficacy. Highly recommend for those who suffer from eye dryness.
