An excellent Cd of Milt Jackson's playing before he became a part of the Modern Jazz Quartet. This is an excellent example of the transitions musicians have and his playing here has a freedom and spontaneity which is very different from his playing with the MJQ.

These are two of the greatest jazz musicians,ever. And this cd helps to prove they are.

Good music, secretly reissued on a CD-R.The CD-R sounds great but it is depressing to know that the company who own the rights to this album are involved in the unacceptable practice of (secretly) putting CD-Rs in original CD packaging. This bad business practice ensures no-one will know what they are buying, or being conned into buying, just by looking at the sleeve.* CD-Rs are known to be unstable and have no re-sale value.
