Awesome!
When I saw this, I was floored! My sister in law gave us the book for Christmas a few years ago, and I wanted to get the girls one. Well, I got the princess one... and the Squire guide... and the princess guide... and so glad I did! Great family devotional!

One of our favorite books!!!!
Children need heroes to look up to and this book provides one worthy to be imitated. The humble squire is committed to do what is right when no one else does. I use this book as a learning tool with my young boys about guarding their eyes and about walking careful in this life. I recommend this book for all children and I encourage you to get the "Life Lessons" book to go along with it. I believe this is a powerful tool. Even my two year old daughter likes the book.

Good conversation starters for boys about integrity and purity
Bought with the story, Squire and the Scroll. It has a lot of life lessons about integrity for boys, and one of our two boys (our ten year-old) really likes them. The other, who is hard to please and doesn't like to sit and be read to (except to stretch out his bed time) is 8 and isn't as into the lessons yet, but I think he's still getting valuable quality time with us, and it often brings up issues that they deal with but wouldn't bring up on their own. Our next step after finishing this book will be to go through Walt Larimore's book "Lintball Leo's Not-So-Stupid Questions About Your Body" with the boys. It gets into more specifics about puberty and bodily changes. As high schoolers, I'm hoping our boys will go to a weekly guys purity group at our church, because this is such a difficult issue, especially in this day and age with readily available access to the internet all the time.
